We should get a good indication of how "on the beach" Villa are tonight against Burnley.

They will be on the sofa tonight

Very true but we are where we are just like the PL want it so what I am saying is: will they let it ride this weekend?

We are where we are because:
- Mahrez didn't score the pen on Sunday
- We didn't beat Liverpool when we were on top (I'm not going to blame Mahrez but he should have buried that chance at the end)
- We lost twice to Spurs (yes, Spurs!)
- We lost to Palace at home
- We couldn't beat Southampton

None of that is the PLs fault. We could have had the league wrapped up weeks ago but we haven't so we have to suffer on Sunday as a result, although hopefully not at the end.

Hadn't quite picked this up but West Ham had two shots on target! It's just incredible how often this happens to us.

In other news, I'm taking my daughter on Sunday so hoping she gets the ultimate day out.

Saints will be lucky to get a free kick in the scousers half tonight with jwp on the pitch

This will be my last game getting to much for me now . First game attended at Maine Road in 47/48 and been a regular at games since 1958. Boy will I miss it. So City don't blow this one for me.
