They've given us Brighton away on a Thursday night 8pm kick-off instead.

Brighton also have 12 days free to prepare for it as well as they have no weekend game due to postponement.
The atmosphere won’t intimidate us as much as Palace does at night time. Their rest might be a big factor though.

This time of year it's normal for most of the teams we play to have longer to prepare, and we have 3 days, whether that's 7 days or 12 makes little difference to us.

I know that but they also make it far easier for their clubs in the CL and rightly so.

Our FA take the proverbial, the CL brings huge prestige and the PL should help the clubs in the latter stages all they can.
yes it’s very strange. like the carabao cup/cwc schedule clash, it happened because an english club won the ucl and they act like that? so weird.

Palace away is arguably more difficult than Spurs away due to timing and injuries: 60 hours after Villa at home (that's 3 games in 6 days) and 3 days before Real away.

Pep has no choice but to play many squad players vs Palace, including Gomez, Bobb and Lewis. Imo, the selection at Palace will cause panic...

Edit: Palace play tonight and have more time to recover. IF we win tomorrow, that game at Palace will be difficult and decisive. Timing is absolutely brutal.
TV manipulation of fixtures in full effect.

If we beat Villa, I am confident we will beat a pretty shit Palace side quite comfortably. They actually have a significantly better record against us at Etihad than at Selhurst.

Overall, I can see us winning 8 of our last 9 games and then there is Spurs which is a toss-up. Fortunately, we broke our duck there in the Cup - needed that monkey off our backs.
