I'm hoping Stones can be risked and i would start Nunes, Foden and Alvarez behind Erling to instill a bit of pace and energy.

Ortega

Akanji
Stones
Dias
Gvardiol

Rodri
Kovacic

Nunes
Foden
Alvarez

Haaland

3-0 to us, we owe them!

If we beat Villa, I am confident we will beat a pretty shit Palace side quite comfortably. They actually have a significantly better record against us at Etihad than at Selhurst.

Overall, I can see us winning 8 of our last 9 games and then there is Spurs which is a toss-up. Fortunately, we broke our duck there in the Cup - needed that monkey off our backs.

We beat them 1:0 with a late Haaland penalty last season. And all the stars played. Now, given we play them 60 hours after Villa and 3 days before Real away, we'll have to use many squad players. I hope you are right but nothing suggests we are going to batter them with Lewis, Nunes, Doku and Bobb in the team. And I rate these players higher than many on here. Liverpool needed help from the referees to win 2:1.

I reckon we score 4/5 tomorrow
It’s time to absolutely leather someone and start a run
Sorry villa

Those games are gone.

This game is a must win now to stand any chance of retaining the title, plus we owe villa for our worst performance of the season.
We don't have the facilities to retain the title, that's been evident in our big game performances. We'll probably beat villa and drop points against Palace.

I bet most of us said that last season after we drew at home to Everton.

Having won the treble from there, anything is still possible with this team.
