Strange team, stronger than I expected to go though so not unhappy. Bit disappointed Jovetic isn't starting but that's nit picking really and looking at their team without Benteke and Agbonlahor it will be a huge missed opportunity if we don't get three points today.

Not that convinced with that team but we shall see
I said the same before the Stoke game and you were much more optimistic than me. Today I'm confident and you're not. This team looks much stronger than the one that played Stoke imo mainly due to Kompany in and Garcia not.

How people aren't convinced by the derby team minus Aguero through injury and Navas is beyond me.

Would have preferred Navas and Milner as opposed to Nasri and Milner but if they play well it won't matter.

Villa weakened, should really look to win this comfortably.

Aston Villa: Guzan, Bacuna, Vlaar, Baker, Luna, El Ahmadi, Clark, Delph, Sylla, Weimann, Kozak. Subs: Bennett, Helenius, Albrighton, Steer, Bowery, Tonev, Lowton.

Man City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Kolarov, Milner, Fernandinho, Toure, Nasri, Negredo, Dzeko. Subs: Richards, Lescott, Javi Garcia, Jesus Navas, Clichy, Pantilimon, Jovetic.

Referee: Mike Jones (Cheshire)

I'm down in London for the weekend, just been to watch my nephew at a Saturday morning football club and there are still way too many kids in united tops. There were about 6 out of the 15-20 kids there, outnumbering any other tops. So depressing.

Makes me laugh and Manchester based rags cringe

MP did this against Stoke when he switched Sergio to the bench. Strange tactic, it's like he waits for their team sheet and then changes.
I thought they had to take the teams in togther ? I would imagine you can then only change if an injury occurs in the warm up ?

There was no late change for City, it was always Nasri playing, but the person who relayed it to the press box simply made an error

That explains it
