Fair call I reckon

Any news on Merlin?
out as well, maybe be ready for bayern game
He shouldn't be parachuted straight back into the team. Nasri has stepped up while he has been out and should be rewarded. This is coming from someone who is not a fan of Nasri, but to be fair to the lad he has been class in recent games.
Silva goes straight in for me. World class opponents need world class players. Form is temporary, class is permanent.Vienna_70 said:Joe Hart's Dandruff said:karen7 said:out as well, maybe be ready for bayern game

I agree on both points, JHD.
I wasn't expecting Silva to be put straight back into the team after this long out; in fact, I doubt he'll start against Bayern, but it will be good to have him back ASAP.
And yes, Nasri has been great in recent games. Long may it continue!

It's nothing to do with his name, its his ability. He was world class right throughout pre-season and in the Newcastle game. He doesn't have to be the best player on the park every game. With his ability he can open a defence in the blink of an eye and for that reason, if he's fit, I'd start him against bayern in a game we might not create many chances in.oakiecokie said:Didsbury Dave said:Silva goes straight in for me. So would you drop Nasri, who has been superb and deserves his place,or drop him at the expense of Silva coming in,because of his name ??
Not for me I`m afraid.Silva ain`t shown anything on a long term basis as being anything other than a very good player. Can you tell me the last game he had where he was world class for City ? I`m struggling, even as a massive David Silva fan.
