Aston Villa vs. City Pre-Match Discussion Thread

Last season, No Silva or Aguero away from home would of meant a defeat. This season i'm not that concerned. Time for Nasri and Jovetic to put on a show and try to get a starting spot nailed down. Especially Nasri, a few more excellent performances this next week or so and Silva might find himself sitting on the bench when he's fit.

Dzeko Jovetic Nasri and Milner as a front 4 for Villa for me.

And who will be in the front in Bayern game for you. I Think it is really a tough choice.

Assuming they're fit

Aguero Negredo Navas. I'd play 3 in midfield to combat Bayern with Aguero playing on the left side Navas on the right and negredo up front. This is going to be a totally different game to what we are used to. We're used to dominating the game but against Bayern we'll have to play differently, hit them on the counter and be fast and clinical. Go toe to toe against them and we'll get well beaten

I think Yaya, Nasri and Jovetic would be a great combination, wouldn't fancy trying to get the ball of them three.

I agree it with you most things. I am still in a big dilema in which games to play Dzeko and in which Negredo. Maybe it is too soon to form partnerships. I would like to see in more games what can do Dzeko, Negredo or Jovetic to know which partnership is the best in which cases.

You are trolling big time. You dont like my other posts and are making things up. The last picture was not even mine. I have said in this tread before which you overlook on purpose that City should play in 4 : 4 : 2 ( 1 Picture ) formation. But in cases when they need a goal urgently they shoul switch to 4 : 3 : 3 . And I said they should play 4 : 3 : 3, only in special games as i surpise or when they must score. It is interesting that you even delated that part ?? And i was joking about to second picture. So to say it again, for me the first formation is the BEST. I doubt you would pick IT. ( Maybe Zabaleta instead of Richards and that is IT ).

Ok sory than, i just wanted to make one funy formation. Bit in reality what do you think should City try to play 4 : 3 : 3, when they need urgently a goal ? Which means not to change striker for striker in last 20 minutes but to add an extra striker and play with 3 of them ?

What game was that, where mario and kolarov struggled over a free kick while we where 3-1 ? Didn't mancini play all strikers ? I think if your loosing a game or chasing it then I'd as well play 5 strikers if possible :D lool jk but yea a 433 formation is cool. Just hope not to get your ass ripped at the end of the day =))
