... I don’t see how driving busses full of asylum seekers day after day into areas that already have problems is going to end well....
Now what we need to do is train asylum seekers to drive buses. Two problems solved.

As I recall it was you who first came on here accusing immigrants of following kids on the street. So projection is s bit of a daft claim to make.
Stop muddling up regular migrants and asylum seekers, that's your issue. Before we left the EU it was infinitely easier for migrants from those countries to come and live and work in the UK compared to asylum seekers.
It wasn’t easier at all, not for relatives of mine or my missus in the past 10 years trying to work here coming from abroad (outside of the EU) - The same system is in place for them pretty much. Of course it was easier back then for people who are from the EU because they could just move here.
But for my relatives who are from OUTSIDE of the EU who have come here on working visas, they were basically not allowed to stay after two years without much option to even try and had to go home, but had they came here illegally claiming to seek asylum from somewhere, then they would’ve been allowed to stay. The only way for them to stay would be for their company to sponsor them to stay which is also a difficult process because the company has to prove that they can’t employ somebody from England to do the same job, so that’s why basically companies won’t/can’t sponsor people to stay for the most part.
I don’t really see a fairness in that system. shouldn’t we also be supporting people who have come and work for two years unpaid taxes to extend their today, rather than just booting them out or starting to put up hurdles once they get here that prevents from any extensions of stay that was supposed to be a possibility.
My gripe is not with immigration as you can see, it’s something that’s close to home for me and that’s why I wanted to remain in the EU also, but I do have an issue with the system that doesn’t seem to support people coming here legally specifically to work, spending money on a VISA and they give then limited time and then kick them out or make it difficult for them to stay, but make it easier for others come in illegally and stay.
Sorry, but I just see something a bit back to front in the system. I’m not saying we shouldn’t be helping people, but at least have some sort of logic and fairness in how we do it.
I don’t blame Asylum seekers for coming, in their positions, I’d probably do the same. I’ve always said that…. but I can’t say it doesn’t piss me off when people close to me are getting booted out of the country after two years of solid working, giving money to the government for a Visa and paying taxes, yet people coming in illegally are free to stay
So yeah, I have some good reason to hate how the system works. I have nothing against anybody personally.
Your gripe is that regular migrants have it more difficult than fraudulent asylum claimants. But there is no evidence to back the claim up that the asylum system is overrun with fraudsters successfully getting approved as refugees and you ignore the fact that they have to live in a place not of their choosing and on about £40 a week. For food and clothing and everything else besides accommodation.

It really is like banging your head against a brick wall day after day.,I’ve never claimed anyone as fraudulent. I’m saying if the sole reason is seeking asylum, then why are people going through France to get to here? so it’s not strictly about seeking asylum in some cases, but I never said asylum wasn’t part of the motive at all. I said it’s not the entire motive in some cases. If you believe that it is that you are either extremely naive or just petrified to say things for what they are
And for me, it’s not really about who has it harder. I just simply think it’s a terrible system when people come in here illegally have more chance to stay this country than people come in legally, paid the government money for a working Visa, paying to pass the required English tests to come here legally, paying for the medical tests It costs to come here legally, all to get the Visa..then working and paying taxes when getting here and then getting the boot after 24 months. it doesn’t mean I don’t empathise with people who come here illegally, nor does it mean I don’t think we should help people.
I just think it’s a flawed and unfair system and nobody will change my mind on that until the system does.
It seems to me you’re speaking from a place idealism that everyone is pure and can be helped, and I’m speaking from experience and reality
I can only assume your viewpoint is from the outside, looking in, whereas for me it’s much closer to home
Because let’s be honest, you don’t really know what you’re talking about, because you said it was easier for people to move here before Brexit, which is only true for people in the EU. I’m talking about people outside the EU and it’s basically the same system that has been in place for years now for them. so you just spouting nonsense about stuff you don’t even understand because it portrays you as righteous or something.
But let’s just agree to disagree because there’s no point in me talking to people that don’t really understand the topic they’re discussing

It is not illegal to come here and claim asylum.
