Re: Gary Cook: So Much For The Semi Final Family/Fan Experience

The club have organised the ticket sales as well as could be done. Could be worse you could have it the trafford way, everyone in a ballot and see what you get allocated.

Re: Gary Cook: So Much For The Semi Final Family/Fan Experience

There have to be some kind of conditions for things like this to work. They'll suit some people and won't suit others.

That's it.

Re: Gary Cook: So Much For The Semi Final Family/Fan Experience

Well that was a bit of a rant, followed by a longer rant.

Maybe if you'd stopped ranting you could have read the conditions properly in the first place.

Baaaaaaaa!

Re: Gary Cook: So Much For The Semi Final Family/Fan Experience

It's quite simple really.

For the sake of one ticket and one day, City could have easily accomodated all 5 of us togther today.

As for some of the standard BM replies. Quality. This place never fails to cheer me up. Keep it up fellas.

Baah!

jrb
love your work on BM but i disagree with you on this one because the club have given everyone the opportunity to sit with pals, unfortunately for you that opportunity was not today and there will be others with a similar situation who have to come on another day.

and no, I am not in the OSC, I queued up today too.

no mate. don't wait that long. it will be sold out by then lad.
supporters clubs have sold out there section. 6,000 today, lots more tomorrow for people with 5,000 points then they will sell out at 4000 loyalty points which will be teusday or wednesday. there going like hot cakes.
ffs, just stop it
there are only 36000 seasoncard holders
last year there were 33000 and the year before 28000
there's no way they are all on the cup direct scheme or have 4000 points (which is impossible)

the club know that if everyone gets a ticket when they should then it will sell out at 2000
not everyone will want one, some may not bother
good post.
you have a point there are only 5,000 people on the cup scheme but in my opinion only, they will all go at around 3,500.
supporter clubs have sold there allocation out. and 6,000 tickets today then dunno about tomorrow. but i do still think it will be tight round about wednesday. probably get to thursday but i can't see till saterday.
we have 31,500 tickets so we had 28,000 thousand season ticket holders 3 years ago, then they are bound to have atleast 3000 loyalty points. so add on the supporters clubs and cup scheme users but there will be season ticket holders who are using the cup scheme aswell.

-- Sat Mar 26, 2011 5:41 pm --

You was not there today so i'm trying to Give people like you advice.
SO WIND YOUR NECK IN!
i was there, number 72!
they had up to about 900 according to some later arrivals

900x6 max = 5400 tickets gone today at the most at the stadium the max

and today will be the biggest day as you have all the CDS (approx 5-6000) which are now out of the system
do you really believe there are 6000 fans between 5500 and 6000 for tomorrow?
no today is gonna be the busiest

i agree
have no issue with you jrb, like your posts, especially in the las vegas thread
but i'm sure you all knew the criteria as you checked it out on here the other day
you thought you might get one in and the club said no

you know i don't like the osc preference and i was there today too

Re: Gary Cook: So Much For The Semi Final Family/Fan Experience

Leave them at home to do the cooking and cleaning, problem solved only three tickets needed.

Let me set the scene.

5 of us going. Me, two mates, my Girlfriend and my Stepdaughter.

Me and my mates are in the cup scheme. My girlfriend isn't.(she has well over 5000 loyalty points) My Stepdaughter is a Junior.

Obviously we all wanted to sit together at the semi-final.

Anyway. My mate has been queuing since 8 this morning.(I work Saturdays)

Just rang me.

The ticket office would only let us have 4 tickets. Mine, my mates and a Junior. They wouldn't let us have another ticket for my Girlfriend. She has to go down on Monday and get her own.

So we now have a situation where she will have to take the day off work or queue up after work.(fair enough) Even so, she won't be able to sit with her Daughter unless I swap seats with her, which I will do. This obviously means I won't be able to sit with any of them.

No doubt many on BM will say well that's the criteria the club has set down and all fans have to adhere to it. Well, you couldn't be more wrong.

Because as we know, the OSC supporters(oh here we go again, blah, blah) who aren't in the cup scheme, and who don't have the correct amount of loyalty points, have managed to get their tickets. Not only that, but they'll probably be sat with each other. I'll repeat that again. They'll probably be sat with each other.

So Gary, how does that work? You and the people that came up with this criteria won't let families and fiends sit together, but you'll let OSC branch members sit together. Perhaps I'm missing something? Feel free.

Please tell me about creating a family friendly club. What's the buzz word at City? The family/fan experience. What happened to a bit of common sense Gary? FFS! My girlfriend wanted to sit next to her Daughter. Your criteria wouldn't let her.

Here's a suggestion.(I'm sure I'll get a few in this thread) If we beat United I suggest you sit down with the other high paid Execs at City, look at that criteria and wording once again before the final, and try and use a bit of common sense.

Anyway, I'm bailing out of this thread. I've made my point and I've made it to the person that matters. I fully expect the usual tirade. I've just done it, so feel free. However, I'm not going to spend the next X amount of hours trying to justify my post and my actions to other BMooners. If you don't agree, fair enough. Have your pound of flesh.

Your talking shit pal and fucking winding people up.

"They are going like hotcakes"...no shit Sherlock...heres me thinking no fucker would bother.
My advice is if you go down an hour or two after the windows open you will queue for a lot less time than the early bird folks.
that was not the case today, those arriving between 10 and 11 queued the longest
