My mate has 7000+ and I have 5640.....we go to games together we sit together...we drink beer together....we have over 12,000 pts between us.....spent alot of money on CITY as alot of fans on here have done.
Rang today to get two tickets....two hours on the phone....got through and told this was the criteria but CITY had changed it - we both need over 6000 - even though together we have over 12,000 - ferking disgraceful CITY!
We will still get tickets but not sure why we should bother with loyalty points really.

Hard lines fella, i'm sure they said if your mate has over 6000 and you have over 3000 you could get one today. Maybe it was a case of the person on the phone not totally understanding the criteria themselves?
Why don't you phone up again and give it another go? The next time you get through they may well sell you 2

jrb, I have agreed with you on other threads in the past but I can't on this one. I think Gary Cook and City have done a lot to try and help fans sit together but they have to work to some rules otherwise it would be chaos. I agree it seems unfair when a Supporters Club get a chunk of tickets together but City have to organise it in some way and knowing they will have queues for individual application it's easiest an most efficient to allocate chunks of tickets to the supporters clubs.
If they bent the rules for you today then what about the next guy behind you who wants another rule bending to suit his needs. Meanwhile the queue moves slower and the phone lines are jammed for longer.
It's not like you would have waited to the end of next week and risked not getting the tickets you needed. If my eldest son manages to get a ticket then that will be separate from us so I'll end up swapping with him and sitting on my own. But I accept that.
You'll still enjoy the match mate and be surrounded by fellow blues.
