Atalanta (A) CL Post-Match Thread

Exactly, no player is immune from criticism no matter how great he's been in the past. Doesn't look interested at the minute and not looking a goal threat in the slightest, needs to get a grip fast.

having a bad spell does NOT equate to looking disinterested. It means he’s having a bad spell!!!!!

I will say my honest opinion now. Don’t get beat Sunday and we will be celebrating a league and champions league double in may. Just hang in there until January.
We’re dropping like flies at the moment. When you think we have Liverpool, united, Chelsea, arsenal and Leicester all before Xmas, it will be a true Xmas miracle if we get to Jan still in touch.

Kyle and his cameo in goal proper lifted awful second half for me.. to be fair the dippers were also flat.

both teams know Sunday is the one...

Walker In nets with a clean sheet... 1-0 to City.

Crikey, you’re brave, not a prayer Tommy Doyle plays Sunday.

You're right, but what do we have to lose? If we play 4 at the back and Gundo as the sole CDM we will lose.

May as well try something different and I honestly believe Tommy wouldn't let us down.

Opposition coaches just need to put two on gundog and that's it.

KDB and Bernardo become passengers.

Ends up with Cancelo/Mendy/Ota/ Fernandhino pinging balls at high pace

into feet of Sterling/Mahrez/Jesus with backs to goal, bypassing midfield.

Then we lose possession, control & rhythm, we become disjointed & sloppy.

Every time, well before the goal when gundog received the ball in centre of our

half I'm screaming at Ota & Fern to get more central as just expecting gundog

to lose possession. Only Walker had a good 2nd half. Shocking from the others.
