We are trying to have a serious discussion, but look at those two... :)
So the onus is on the attacker to trail a foot and force minimal contact... a fucking farcical decision and you know it.. you could give the ref the benefit of the doubt but not the guy with the replays... game’s bent... sorryTalk about selective. The next 6 words clearly show what I meant.
I’m not saying it’s right I’m saying that’s how the game is reffed now.
If you go to ground between a striker and the goal you will concede a foul. Right or wrong the onus is not on the attacker to jump over you or go around.
For all the comic cuts - at least we didn't lose. What a shambles of a game.
1, Select a very strong team bar Kun and give a performance like that
2, Miss (as usual) a shit load of chances
3, MISS a Pen to kill the game
4, Lose your Keeper
5, Start the 2nd happy really poor
6, Concede a very poor goal with Ottamendi making not effort to stop a cross and then the goal scorer have nobody within 10 metre of him
7, Bravo sent off . WTF was he doing and ditto Gundogan giving the ball away
8, Usual awful performances from Mendy, Ottamendi, Bernardo and Mahrez
9, Sterling’s inability to make the right decision happened 3or 4 times
10, Finally, our overall level of performance was shit again and it’s becoming a habit now week after week.
The decision to give him a red was the referee's, the VAR team reviewed it, suggested he had another look, he did, same outcome, so nothing to do with "the guy with the replays", all on the referee. So the onus is on the attacker to trail a foot and force minimal contact... a fucking farcical decision and you know it.. you could give the ref the benefit of the doubt but not the guy with the replays... game’s bent... sorry
That was reckless, as well — could have been kicked in the head by another Atalanta player and sent off!No mentions on the other time he came flying out of his box and headed the ball away to safety I see.
