Ideal time to rest players for Klanfield , Bravo + Cancelo , Garcia , Stones , Angelino + Mahrez , , Doyle , Bernabe , Poveda + Jesus , a defeat to Atlalanta will not be the end of the world

Can't see him starting Doyle in a Champions League away game when we haven't qualified yet.
 
Should be a good game whatever side we put out. Atalanta need to win and will attack, it will give us space to attack on the counter. I'm going for a 1-3 win .

Maybe but Zinchenko has over 50 apps for us and almost 30 for Ukraine whereas Doyle has one start in the Caraboa Cup so they are slightly different cases.
 
This is the sort of game Merlin will be allowed time and space to create magic.
No point risking KDB, Kun or Razza unless it’s a necessity imo.
We have enough midfielders to run them ragged and some younger guys chomping at the bit to show what they can do.
Let them loose against these.
 
I think we can assume Pep wants to win this one too.
4 days before and after Atalanta is good enough to recover for Anfield.

In terms of group tactics Pep certainly wants to win the group, he won't field a B team before that's done IMO.
He will play this first and think about dippers then.

I also think the best preparation for next Sunday will be a good success,
winning away in Milano is what our Blues want most,
they need maximum confidence going to Anfield and standing all the negative shite that lies ahead...

Thought David went off injured Saturday so would imagine he is a doubt.
 
This for me is a game where the young guns get a chance, we loose this and we will still qualify, we loose Sunday and I think the league is done, and I know this might be shit for people who have paid a lot of money to go to Milan

Not sure it will be shit for people that have gone to Milan. If anything, might be a bonus to see Foden, Garcia, Doyle, and co in the CL whilst also being in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Not sure there is much to complain about there.
