I don't know why you think starting a Champions League game makes Aguero second choice.

Pep basically said the only reason Gabby started was because he'd been playing for Brazil and was match sharp while Aguero had (he didn't say this bit) been on a beach in Miami all international break.

I think Sergio is still undisputed #1 but would be more than happy to see Gabby play more.
