Athletics Thread

Looks like doping is absolutely rife in India. The video that led to drug testing officials showing up showed empty packets of PED's throughout the toilets.

The steeplechase runner who won and then carried on running out of the stadium to avoid a drugs test.

World Athletics needs to get it's house in order.

I distinctly remember at one of the last meetings, the commentator saying “there’s a good crop of young Indian nationals up and coming”, now we know why.

2nd in this years Tokyo marathon found to be doping. Time to start dishing out lifetime bans.

The World Indoor Athletics Championships start tomorrow.

From Glasgow, Friday til Sunday, two sessions per day live on BBC2.

A lot of the top athletes are turning up, with something like 20 current World Champions from last summer set to compete.

Britain's best gold medal chance looks to be Josh Kerr, while Molly Caudery, Laura Muir and Jemma Reekie should all have strong medal chances. The women's 4×400 can't be discounted either.

So it's on BBC2 now, but I can't watch it on the BBC Sport website? How does that help with getting people involved and interested in the sport?

It is now available on the website!!
