Honestly, my thoughts exactly the same when I saw the Czechia bloke.Erm how have Slovakia got two in the decathlon and we have none? Surely there must be someone who could have a go? Sure fuck it might throw an entry in for the next one myself if nobody else can be arsed with it

Just seen SA had to do a rerun this morning on their own to see if they could get a qualifying time, they didn't, probably fair but it's a lot different with nobody to race and no crowd. There's 9 lanes on most world class tracks now, lane 1 isn't used in the relays unless something has happened. So I assume they'll get that lane.
I think they always try to keep 1 lane clear now, in case of appeals.
Maybe, not sure though mate, that was super quickMary Moraa basically won Odira gold, messed up Keely's plan deliberately, smart if that was Kenya's gameplan.

That’s right, those months off for Hodgkinson would count with fitness levels. Georgia H-B medal was tremendous though.I think in an ideal world Keely would have paced it fast but with less surges. Moraa surged at 200m, 400m and 500m, she had nothing left at the end.
I think Keely being injured for 3-4months obviously didnt help.
To be fair, its still not enough compared to our rivals.Nice to see the lottery money being used wisely….
