Pep is the best thing to ever happen to this club (on the pitch) imo but I really am starting to think Fodens game has been negatively affected this season by his decisions.

He’s too good to bench unless injured.

His form has not been great this season but he is playing false 9 which is a waste. Bit of both I would say.

Maybe he has lost focus this season.

If Pep had his way I'm pretty sure we'd have Kane right now and Foden would never have to play centrally at all. If we're blaming people it's got to be either the board for not getting a striker or Jesus for suddenly deciding he isn't one.

Just start with pace and a determination to score quickly….like we used to do. Goal in first 15 minutes - hopefully 2 - and dominate. No more of this slow as fuck multiple passing shit shooting nonsense please.

on the face of it defence looks a little weird...centre half right back, 2 left footed centre halves and a right footed left back...

Could be a Cancelo at RB, Stones and Laporte at CB and Ake LB. Wouldn't look so weird then.

Disappointed to see Foden benched through no fault of his own. This false nine us just a case of hoping someone can adapt to that role, and so far it just hasn't worked. Who is playing there tonight?
