Our left side is a bit mad. Grealish hasn’t really clicked yet, Foden was brilliant there last year but has been on and off recently and Sterling is more suited to the right, which is always up for debate.

Quite a number of ways that 11 could line up in defence and midfield. About the only certainties are Ederson in goal, Rodri at DM, Mahrez on the left and Sterling on the right.

Surprised to see no Foden but if we're going with inverted wingers, I would have preferred Grealish over Sterling. I would have liked to see Zinchenko start this but we don't know where is head is and Ake has done well with the opportunities he's had.

I'm hoping KDB will be false 9 and not Bernardo.

All in all not a bad team though and gives us the opportunity to switch things around without making subs.

Pep is the best thing to ever happen to this club (on the pitch) imo but I really am starting to think Fodens game has been negatively affected this season by his decisions.

He’s too good to bench unless injured.

Liverpool is our biggest game of the season, and he's been kept for that and the return game. It's all good.

I'm intrigued about how we'll line up. Could be Stones or Cancelo at RB, Ake, Laporte or Cancelo at LB, any combination of Ake, Stones or Laporte at CB. KDB or Bernardo could be in the midfield or false 9.
