Atletico Madrid | Friendly (N) | Post Match Thread

Didn't see the game, but that was shit. We need to be worried going into a new season with that 11. We were poor. Foden is that overrated he could be a Rag academy product. Dias has too many mistakes in him for a top notch centre back - you wouldn't see Martinez/van Dyke make those simple errors. Haaland needs to get more involved, he got away with it last season because of his goals but it won't cut it in his second season, he needs the same work rate as a Nunez or a Hojlund.

Arsenal will batter us next week. I won't be watching that game either but I'll make sure to put a decent post match report on here......

Agreed. Hojlund is miles better than Haaland. We've got a big shock coming this year, with United having the best player in the world in their ranks, across several positions.

If we can't beat the likes of Atletico we are gonna be lucky for a top 6 finish. Fucking joke, and a good 7 or 8 players need to take a hard look at themselves after that performance today. Another trophy missed out on, like the Southampton performance last season.

Only psychopaths can wound up over friendly games. They’re just training exercises for fitness. Just look at our last couple of Community Shield performances. We then went on to win the league and more. They mean absolutely nothing.

Well, what they mean is that they give Pep a chance to try people out, and see things that he doesn't quite see in training, in games with zero risk in terms of consequences, but which can nevertheless be genuinely competitive, as today was.
I actually quite enjoyed today's game. It's better than checking Sky Sports Transfer Centre and the Gvardiol thread on here every five fucking minutes, anyway…

Same here, we are a shambles and I’m done with them, If Chelsea start well I’m going back to supporting them

Never ever show your hand early, let them think problems are happening in the camp, Get the media to hype up how good United are and what a great new signing they found for peanuts,

Next week in the media they will do their annual poll for who will win what and where teams will finish
title winners UNITED
