Ooooooh

Aaaaaah

Oooaaaahhhh

Jumping up and down celebrating when City conceded goals while wearing City shirts. Annoying fuckers.

Good run out for the lads, wish all pre-season games were as tough as that.
These melts & JCLs are the reason I didn’t get a ticket for the Madrid SF - despite having been a member for donkeys.
The decision of the club not to include a loyalty/pre-attendance criteria for that game - still boils my piss.

Didn't see the game, but that was shit. We need to be worried going into a new season with that 11. We were poor. Foden is that overrated he could be a Rag academy product. Dias has too many mistakes in him for a top notch centre back - you wouldn't see Martinez/van Dyke make those simple errors. Haaland needs to get more involved, he got away with it last season because of his goals but it won't cut it in his second season, he needs the same work rate as a Nunez or a Hojlund.

Arsenal will batter us next week. I won't be watching that game either but I'll make sure to put a decent post match report on here......
Spot on. The fault lies squarely with Pep for manipulating a way to keep winning and exhaust the players last year. If only we had capitulated in the Lge and the FA cup like Arse and bombed out of the chumps Lge in the group stage we would be well set for this season.

Probably been said before but not seen so many city shirts in a stadium since last game.

I see what you did there. ;-)

First half pretty good. Controlled the game well but lacked penetration. Tended to over complicate playing out of the back and Griezman reminded me of what a good player he would have been for City…
Foden looked pretty sharp.
Second half fell apart as too many changes with too many inexperienced players meant we lost our rhythm and gave the ball away too easily. Kovatic is definitely a good signing but any thoughts of Phillips backing up Rodri in the middle are wide of the mark. The boy just isn’t interested or just not good enough. Those saying we should wait are not being objective. He’s had plenty of opportunities to show what he can do and so far has failed on each occasion. I like all here want him to do well but just can’t see it happening.
Pity cos he seems a lovely lad.
That Amazon documentary on him showed he is a very nice guy & a humble human being. We all want him to do well after last seasons injury/fitness issues but he has to give it everything, every game. Like he did at Leeds and does for England.
