I hope we do go back in the market, for sure. Two really solid players gone. Kova filled the long time requirement for a midfield utility man - we ought not to talk of him as Gundo's replacement.

On the bright side, I have Foden down to get quite a lot of goals for us this season.

Good work out against a more than decent Athletico side. Pre-season all about fitness and whilst the result is disappointing, no injuries which is a good thing. Right wing is definitely an area I would be looking at to strengthen before the window closes.

Very very lightweight in midfield and up front 2nd half. AM much stronger. I kept thinking a chance for Phillips to step up, didn’t happen again, looked lost in our midfield.

Looks lost at our club full stop,needs to move on quick.
