The one about him being a property tycoon ? 'We all live in a Robbie Fowler house' to the tune of Yellow Submarine?
I wonder if any City fans did actually live in a Robbie Fowler house and whether he was a good landlord?.
'Billion in the bank' isn't our best song I agree, but i guess it does have that self deprecating humour that kept us going 'back in the day'.
It certainly was very good vocal support from the away fans the other night.
Wasn’t much else to sing about those days. Even Joey Barton had his own song.

But seriously....
when did we get relegated under a new billionaire owner.

Been going since 1958, and been pissed a lot,but I can't remember this.
We didn't obviously, but we were near the bottom of the table at some point during the first couple of years after the takeover. It was only for a short period and may have been due to us having a game or two in hand; hence the song.
It proved popular at away games and caught on at home.
It may have originally been sung by the deranged gerbils who support our nauseating neighbours.

“We’re still on our perch,
We’re still on our perrrch
We may have dropped down to the relegation spots around December after that awful day v West Brom. Anyone there will know.

City’s going down with a billion in the bank is very funny, IMO. Pure gallows humour.
Never in danger of relegation under the Sheikh.

The song isn’t gallows humour cos it’s not humorous......it worse than ‘Empty seats at home’

“Da da da da...Philip Foden,
Da da da...Philip Foden “

Full display from 1894 tomorrow, telescopic flags and drop down banner.

Can people in other stands, especially the North stand, Colin Bell and East stand - Level 2 and Level 3 take some pictures of the telescopic flags and the drop down banner for 1894 please and post the pictures in here. Thank you. It’s difficult to get decent pictures of the telescopic flags and drop down banner from the front of SSL1.

The club are doing their own thing.
