Each to their own fella. I think the people who believe they have a right to tell people and dictate
what time they can and can't leave the stadium are arrogant gobshites. But that's just me.
You pay for your ticket. You leave when you want. Everyone has their reasons and it's none
of mine, or anyone else's business to what they are. Live and let live.
Wonder what the players think though?

I reckon they really appreciate being applauded off after a hard fought game, you only have to watch Erling to see he appreciates the applause

I don’t think we can just keep blaming transport or getting out of the ground for the amount of people leaving early.

Obviously everyone has a choice, but it’s not a great look. I think a lot of people do it out of habit. It doesn’t matter how close the score is or who it’s against they’ll leave early.

I know people who leave on 83 minutes so they can get to the pub earlier. I know people who leave earlier to get a seat on a bus, which then doesn’t leave until 20 minutes after the game is finished.

If people want to spend hundreds of pounds on a season ticket and miss large parts of the game that’s up to them.

Whatever. Majority of our fans live in the NW & whilst that therefore seems they should all stay till the end, getting home through traffic & using public transport is a lottery. The rags have hundreds from Ireland & London, many of whom are staying overnight so they just stay at the ground till the end then make their way to a nearby B&B.
It’s another way of looking at the “non existent problem”
Don’t give a toss what someone watching the rags on TV thinks.

I dont like seeing the early leaves, I dont get it.
Perhaps living so far away I have a different outlook on getting back home. It can take 5hrs it can take over 7hrs, it is what it is.

Yesterday the team need the fans for the last 10 minutes but so many fans were walking away. I sang the hardest I had all game for the last mad 10 minutes.

Guess it's my choice to stay and support the team for the full match or not.

We took the piss out of the gooners for leaving early last season but we do the same !
Same here, minimum 5hr drive home for us and never even considered bolting early - sad thing is it’s got to the stage that we’re getting home earlier now as so many leave the traffic’s not as bad when you stay to the end.

For all the moaning about internationals getting in the way of watching City you would think the fans would be up for it especially after two defeats, playing at the preffered kick off time against a team that can play. I guess all that moaning is just hot air. Good effort with the fire drill though.

Yea lol I was back home by 11:15 its normally well gone midnight with a 7am start. Why would I leave 10 minutes early with all the costs I'm going to watch every minute !

Yes, but what do you reckon our players think?

Yesterday there was the usual early rush to be in the first few thousand leavers but then the game became tense and the 'dripping out' seemed to almost stop.

The roads were certainly busier getting onto the motorway when I finally got out of SS3 after the whistle.

It'll be interesting how soon people fuck off once the parking restrictions come in. It'll add a good 30 mins to my getting home time but, will mean I'll have no reason to have to park up around 13.00 for a 15.00 game so my time away from home may actually come down.....I'll just miss a little more Strictly ;)
