City really don't help themselves, got to my block with 5 mins to spare to be told I couldn't go to seat due to laser show as it's a H+S issue with it being a "bit dark". Just pushed past them anyway, but there were 30 people all stuck there not in seats.

The last 15 mins of the game the temperature droped a lot !! it was fecking freezing
After being kettled and corralled for 30 minutes so the players could take 20 seconds to file past the statue - a lot of people were understandably furious and frozen before they eventually even got in.
What a shambolic shit show. Didn't the coach driver have a phone?
"Hello, leaving now, we'll be there in 5 minutes".

Can't see the row letters during the light show.

Loudest in 227 was a guy by me telling a Frog to sit the fuck down.
They were comfy padded seats in fairness though.

:)

Full of tourist with half and halves and bus loads of school kids with free tickets yet season ticket holders still have to pay top dollar for an almost dead rubber game.

There was a load of school kids in CB3 on Saturday against Liverpool. I get it for the lower profile games but seems a bit odd to do it in one of the plum league fixtures of the calendar.

I really don't get the half and half scarves at all. Unless, of course, they're long enough to keep your neck warm and wipe your arse with the Liverpool side.

This will probably be a bit unpopular, but I would only buy a half and half scarf as a memento. 1st game or whatever.

Champions league final? Pop it in a bag and keep it clean and take home etc.

Wouldn't wear it at the game.

They actually had someone selling Half and Half scarves the other year at Guiseley vs Leeds in a friendly

Clearly isn't just a City problem

Exactly this: we are no better or worse than the vast majority of other PL fans. I’ve seen similar stuff from Liverpool fans. The real problem is the gentrification of top level football. However, that ship has long sailed over the horizon and beyond. That’s how it is now. It’s a multi-million pound business. No club gives a fuck anymore about the normal, average match going fan. But that works the other way also. I love our team and our club. But I have no love or affection for the people who run it. Why should I?

I find being surrounded by tourists as annoying as anyone, but if it wasn't for them last night was the sort of game pre-Pep that would have been played with level 3 closed and us getting endless stick about empty seats for the rest of the season.

Agreed. The tourists are taking up the slack in the Champions League and have been for a while. I don't really have an issue with it. Better being filled than empty.

I personally wouldn't join the CL Cup scheme as they're midweek and a lot harder for me to get to. Although last night was quite entertaining there's literally no jeopardy involved either and it's completely non-competitive. It would take something completely catastrophic to occur to not finish top 2 and it will only get worse when they expand it further. The people I do know that are on it only do it in the hope they'll get a final ticket.
