Fucking weird when you you come in here and hear people calling it “wank” and all that. It was tense and nervy but also our fans were right behind the team all game.
Agree, a couple of the chants ‘best team…’ and ‘Blue Moon’ were very loud and reverberated around the stadium. Also the random roars of encouragement were very loud, from East Level 2.

It’s called an opinion, if that’s getting behind the team, god help us.

Gave an Arsenal fan we know a lift today. He sat in City section,315. When he got back to the car he said “it was like a bear pit” in there. He’s been in the Stretford end, The Kop and of course the Emirates ‘clock’, but reckoned he’d never experienced such an intimidating atmosphere. Clearly it wasn’t that bad and I thought it was pretty good considering the poor game.
Was he pissed…

There's a reason why we're pretty much unbeatable at home...and its not just the players. It was good today, not the best, but Legoheads tactics sucked all joy out of the game. As did the all about me Alty rag. The tarquins were pathetic, hardly a peep.

We don't half give ourselves a fucking hard time. No doubt the Villa game will result in a copy/paste of today's comments.

Yawn.

Sat in 303 today, second to last row and even with loads of kids and tourists sat around me the atmosphere was bloody good.

Lots of songs reverberating around the Stadium from SS2/SS3 around to us with quite a few joining in.

I'm an unashamed apologist for early leavers, each to their own - it's nobody else's business etc etc

All those amazed by early leavers in a big game like today, do you ever take into consideration that they're doing what i and many others do - leaving their seat early to move to a seat further back in the stand nearer to the exit.

So not so much early leavers as early movers

But surely there has to be early leavers to vacate those seats for other then to move back to?

Listening on the City website yesterday I thought the atmosphere came across as being reasonably decent (even the Arsenal fans who have never been the most vocal could be heard a few times).
There can be tense, entertaining low scoring matches , and often the atmosphere can be better than if we are 4 or 5 ahead and cruising. Although it was a big game with a lot at stake yesterday, the lack of anything much happening on the pitch understandably will have an impact on how the fans react (and there certainly didn't seem to be anything much happening on the pitch yesterday!)

The atmosphere was good yesterday. The songs, particularly in the first half, carried around the ground. I was in North Level 2 yesterday and i could tell songs were starting from various parts of the ground.

Yes the early leavers diminished the atmosphere at the end but each to their own.

outside it was a fantastic turn out of half and half scarves, bloggers, big game tourists, even saw an odd City fan, KERCHINGGGGG
