Atmosphere 2024/25

I'm wonder if you'd use an account in your own name and traceable to you and still make those accusations?
Accusations or not, we all know something is going on. There’s too much evidence to suggest otherwise.

For me it was Real Madrid fans all over the ground for the CL, semi-final, 2nd leg match. What should have happened was every home seat should have been full of City fans, with all home tickets being sold through the OS ticket website/portal, with previous CL attendance history. One of the most important CL games in the clubs history and we had Real Madrid fans in the home ends all over the ground. Where did the Real Madrid fans get those tickets from? Which companies sold them those tickets? Those tickets could only have come from the club as the original source, in that amount.

Many of those making accusations on here are the same ones who claim that ticket prices make up little to nothing in relation to the clubs income and thus claim that prices could be reduced with little to no impact on PSR etc. If that's the case, why would selling on a.few thousand tickets to opposing fans being of any financial (or otherwise) benefit to the club. Worst case scenario there is either poor governance process around ticket sales, or some rogue internal person(s) are making a profit, which although terrible, is not the same as claiming some exec level conspiracy at the club

I must be a JCL compared Geriatric Corner! And there was me thinking I was a fully paid up FOC...
....way to go yet mate.

Let me know if you want to go on the wait list for 'Geriatric Corner'.

Judging by the state of some of long standing members, several vacancies could soon be available.

The list is long and conditions strict.

Maybe Khaldoon and Soriano don’t have a clue about the actual cost of a ticket. Maybe ticket pricing is generated using analytics.

But they will decide how important match day revenue is in the grand scheme of things and what direction the club is taking when it comes to the fabric of the fan base.

They should be interested in fan engagement and satisfaction. Even if they’re not, it doesn’t mean we should ever give up.

We’re collectively fucked if we just accept that things will only continue to change for the worse. That literally give them an open goal to fully flog the club to tourists and those who can afford to pay whatever crazy prices are set.
CAUSE & EFFECT -

1) Caused by the financial stipulations of the PL to hinder City & Newcastle.

2) Every club now is scratching around in (desperate) attemps to raise revenue to comply with restrictive and self destructive PL rules.

3) Some clubs have had to sell players (assets) to comply. Others are unable to buy (invest) in players for the same reasons.

4) The platitudes expressed by the FA, PL and clubs, including City, during and post covid, have been consigned to the bin of inconvenience as a result of the UNINTEDED CONSEQUENCES.

Attempting to prevent two member clubs, and shareholders, investing their own money, in their own business's......and the fans are paying the price. !!

Perhaps an over simplification, but true non the less !!

Its not an over simplification. Youre bang on. And its just a small example of football eating itself from the inside.

Greed on many levels is ruining OUR sport

We have to genuinely start to look at the money paid to players and staff when all of that cost it going up year on year and fans are asked to shell out to pay more and more.

How the fuck with the TV money and sponsorship do clubs get in debt by so much? If the industry can't afford the costs it should be cutting the cloth not charging the customers more and more, what other business could do that and get away with it?

Yet we didn't qualify to get tickets, only your ticket history over the last 18 months not 40 years counted.

I’m not sure what your point is with that post. Fact is that no-one is claiming there’s some elaborate conspiracy - just that the club are doing what they want and making decisions that are fucking over long-standing fans in favour of JCLs and tourists just so they can make an extra few quid. A classic case in point is the Real Madrid home CL semi final in 2023. Instead of staggering ticket sales to members who had attended matches in the past, they invited anyone to apply for a membership which gave them as much chance as a legacy fan of many years of getting a ticket in the ensuing online bloodbath, even if that person had never attended a single City game previously. No conspiracy, but it was a ****’s trick of the highest order.

I’m not being funny but there’s a huge whiff around some of your posts to the point that they come across as you shilling for the club.
