Atmosphere 2024/25

I go to most away games and normally have a chat in the bars before the game with some home fans, the general vibe seems to be that they're up for the game, as they're playing the current best team in the world, and they expect it to be louder than normal.
Our atmosphere is no worse than any club in the country for an average run of the mill game.
It can match any club in the country in a game that matters.

If you pull Beyonce tomorrow night and get her back to yours i assume you'll put in a bit more effort than you would if you'd copped off with some slapper in the queue at the kebab shop .

Generally, fans create the appropriate atmosphere for any given game
I disagree. Thousands of our fans sit motionless and emotionless for 80%[guess] of our games. That’s not appropriate to the importance of our games. We aren’t some midtable League 1 outfit where most games don’t really matter because we won’t go down to League 2 and we won’t go up to the Championship, every single goal and point matters when you’re going for the title.

Fair enough, today won’t be as crucial as games against Arsenal and Liverpool this season, but some people don’t even get out of their seat and shout ‘go on’ when there’s an exciting attack at 0-0 at games like today. When Haaland scored an equalising penalty in the first home game of the season against Ipswich after we’d gone 0-1 down, there were people near me telling others to sit down because they couldn’t see… when we had a penalty! They’d have been happy to just sit there and look at it, maybe give a little clap if it went in.

[PS - I wouldn’t let Beyoncé anywhere near me the fucking nonce enabler.]

Hardly surprising the atmosphere was poor today. It's a two way street; the players need the fans to encourage them. But the fans also need something to get excited about. Throw in an opposition that doesn't sell out it's allocation, and it's a recipe for a quiet game.

they looked full to me in their end ?
and a few gobby scrotes on the way home too.

They had all 3 tiers, thought they were quite loud at times, much better than ours unfortunately.
Depends where you sit, all I heard was "your support is shit" and the shity slow Saints song.

Our lot sang too though

That was the worst atmosphere for years, today. Woeful!

110-111, the odd song
115, I don’t remember singing at all after half an hour into the game and they didn’t even all bother coming out for the second half until the hour mark (was there some sort of silent protest or no show protest today from 115 in the second half?)
117, the only block who bothered who are classed as a singing area, and they weren’t good, but did at least bother in the second half.

SSL3- only area who got stadium wide chants going apart from two ‘come on City’s from NSL1.

The rest of the ground, Jesus fucking Christ, bloody terrible!

I reckon the last time it was that bad was when Brentford beat us before the World Cup two years ago.

SS1 - 1st half not great, there seemed to be 3 chants at the same time, not 1 unified chant. Maybe the new seating can help that.
2nd half picked up a bit and reached a high point but their constant going down for "injuries" killed the game.

Similar to wednesday when it picked up in the second half.

Felt like they were trying to equalise with that big fucker at the end and wasted so much time so we couldn't get 1 back.
