I was at the game up in cb3, was good for the first 10-15 mins and 10 mins after our goal. Nothing after that

Not saying this because the Rags scraped a win from City’s mistakes, but United’s support in SSL1 was absolutely shocking. A few chants throughout the match, and standing in silence for the majority of the match, until the 88th minute goal.

100% this. Not even any nursery rhymes or owt. Maybe a few small time ‘you cheating bastards’ and that was it. Then the shitshow happened and they are having a party. Wonder what the make up of their away support is. They very rarely make much noise at ours unless they are winning. I wonder if they have issues like we did at Anfield with tickets going to tourists?

SSL3 were excellent second half. They got easily half a dozen prolonged stadium-wide chants going from ‘Follow You Everywhere’ ‘City’s win four in a row’ ‘Champions again ole ole’ ‘All that money you’ve spent since Ferguson went’ two ‘Ark Now Here’s and a few ‘Blue Moon’s… from about the hour mark to their penalty.

Even as their penalty happened, the whole stadium was chanting ‘Johnny Johnny Stones’.

They used to but their demands throughout all their protests included away allocations for proper United fans only and fuck all the tourists off.

Ss3 is the loudest part of the ground. It always the area that gets the chants going around the stadium.

That’s because of the roof. This is why we have to have the singers at the back of the extended north stand.

They were awful mate. Worst team on and off the pitch we've had at the Etihad this season in my eyes..... and we still lost. Fuming.

The back of 314 was bouncing all game and chants were spreading all over SSL3. Especially second half with an 8 minute rendition of follow you everywhere. The last 10 minutes before the game were great too, set the tone for the atmosphere in SSL3, should turn off the music more often. Hope the noise spread round the ground like it did in the South Stand.

Atmosphere - it is what it is to use a rubbish modern day phrase. And in truth, compared to some of the derbies we remember, this was a rubbish modern day atmosphere. Better than for most home games but no sense of hostility at all. Half and half numpties everywhere.

Three early 20s lads next to me. One starts filming their pen, I said “what the fuck are you doing, are you a red, don’t fucking react in any way if they score”.
Poor lad mumbles “it’s for my story, I’m just here to see the game I’m not a United fan”. I felt a bit bad tbh, he didn’t react in any way I think he was just a neutral taking in a game - not his fault City take tickets off blues to sell to any fucker who’ll pay through the nose for it.

Can't speak for other parts but if the team performed like SS3 we'd have won comfy.
