Atmosphere 2024/25

Took my 7 yo daughter to her first game last night (she has been to the stadium before to watch City v United women), and she loved it.

I used to have a seasoncard, but gave it up 3 years ago and the cost for single games and availability make it difficult to go regularly. I tend to buy singles off FB if I go to any. I'm not paying £70 for two memberships for a start, so having these on open sale and relatively cheap meant it was the perfect game to take her to.

I wouldn't say she is massively into football, but she takes an interest because of me. Kind of wish i still had my seasoncard and I could take her more often, she might get really into it then.
Exactly the same as you. I'll never pay for a membership. Ever. I have a Citizens account with 10 years seasoncard points in it if that's only going to get me and the family to a crap cup game so be it.

I considered it for Spurs 2 years ago, but with tickets it was going to cost me £200 for one game. Even the 5 yo ticket was £50. Sorry, but that's a joke.

Have you got that saved in your notes and just post it every day?

We need to concentrate on making NSL2 a proper atmosphere end before anything else changes in our stadium. Where the away fans are is neither here nor there compared to making sure we get NSL2 right.
No.

Two City ends are better than one, & away fans in the worst position in the stadium is better than piling them on top of each other to throw things from height to injure City fans below.

Do you agree...

Yes or No ?

The east stand is the old Kippax. We don’t want away fans in the lower tier so they would be shown on TV all match. If anything, they should be in a corner section of the 3rd tier of CB stand - so they can’t be seen or heard. All away fans are well hidden away at the swamp. We should take heed
Seen but not heard, or heard but not seen ?

Wolves or Spurs away, or
Rags or Palace away ?

I know which is more preferable.

Not exactly sure your point is as you’ve kind of changed to being concerned about away experience?? lower East stand should not have away fans in it. Top tier only - preferably Colin Bell stand towards the SS . It’s more important that our fans have the best experience- not the away fans.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm knackered and skint after that many home games in quick succession. I thought, all things considered, it was decent.
Payment for Sparta Praha comes out today and Wolves tickets go on sale this week n’all.

Feels like it’s a never ending stream of money coming out of the bank going to City.

Found this interesting: https://www.credit-connect.co.uk/news/average-football-supporter-spending-13-of-their-salary-to-follow-their-team/#:~:text=A new report by Creditfix, salary, to follow their team.

The average fan spends a fucking incredible percentage amount of their money more on their football club than any owner does. Owners get all the praise but we dedicate more time and money than they do.
