Tbf when you're throwing your coins away at home fans, it's hard to buy anything.

Good support for the lads last night. One of the best atmospheres this season, although that’s not a particularly high bar. Credit to South Stand L1 for making most of the noise. Good to hear the chants coming from the North stand too and the Kippax corner.

Had to laugh at the IQ level of the average Forest fans singing we were cheats when our case is still ongoing and they have been found guilty.

Probably in response to City fans singing "You cheating bastards, you know what you are" at their ground last season. I wouldn't take it too seriously to be honest.

I thought the atmosphere was pretty good for most of the game last night, despite the no shows. Difficult to gauge it for sure when underneath the overhang of SS1 Block 115(!) as it's normally loud in that part of the ground but I noticed there were plenty of chants starting from elsewhere that spread. Couldn't really hear the Forest fans too much but again, it's not the best place for hearing the away fans where I was. Maybe they were louder than I thought?

They were average to poor in SS3.

We were 'ok' ourselves.

Agreed, usually forest are some of the better away fans to come to the Etihad, but didn't hear a peep out of them last night
