I'm guessing that the lad involved, even though wholly innocent (of a totally nothing offence btw) stands in a more boisterous part of the ground. City will use any excuse they can to deter boisterous behaviour and get rid of the kind of fans who do anything that the middle class daytrippers might be slightly uncomfortable with (swearing, chanting etc).I hope he gets sorted mate, the club shouldn’t be treating their own fans like that. As someone else said above, I reckon Liverpool would treat their own supporters better.
The club are cunts. The stewards get a bad rap but they're merely following instructions.
