i don’t know how other people feel about this but I think if the surrounding areas immediately outside the ground had more places (which is coming) to have a drink and build some pre match atmosphere then it would certainly help
Depends what you mean. I don’t think city square did anything for the atmosphere. We need proper pubs, which unfortunately there’s f all near the ground

They haven't ruled this out, they've just committed to an initial 3,000 and said we'll go from there based on demand.

It's up to us fans to show that there's the demand!
It’s pretty shit though that they are planning to have hospitality sections right at the front of the stand they need to get rid of this if they won’t any opportunity for it to be a proper home end and also let us hang banners off the sides like we used to

It's not hospitality it's a 500 seat GA+ section, which will be completely insignificant compared to the rest of the stand.

I don't know why we keep pushing this idea that there going to be some massive tunnel club style hospitality section taking up the entire front half of the stand. It's simply not true

Unless I’m wrong, it’s similar to ss2, which if I remember the season tickets are over £1000. So you already pricing out huge numbers of people, which is not what you want at the front of a home end. As with ss2 as well, it has a completely different feel - you could call it corporate lite

Why do we even need it? There’s already enough similar areas around the rest of the ground.

The club should pay the local gangsters the extortion they require so locals can run the pubs lol

I agree that it's completely unnecessary, and I think the club absolutely need to reconsider.

I just think people have wound themselves up into thinking this big 10,000 seat stand is going to be one huge coorperate section, which just isn't the case.

I think it's important to make the distinction, because GA+ will still attract blues, just the wealthier ones. Hospitality will attract coorperate and daytrippers with no affiliation to the club whatsoever. Neither is ideal, but it's an important distinction to make

I'd be happy and willing to move, but I get the impression there's a lot of SSL1 that like where they are. I actually don't think it would hurt to create a second atmosphere group for up there separate to that group, but respect and accept that is loads of work for someone to take on. Something that eg Italy has, though.

Agree, I think there's a fair few in SSL1 who won't move.

But we also shouldn't just be targeting singers from SSL1. There's loads in SSL3 who wish it was a bit more lively up there, so I rekon a few would move from there.

And as I say, there are many blues around the ground who would want to be in a singing area, but aren't.

East Stand 93:20 has outsung the South Stand for the QPR game and the first half vs Brugge. A low bar admittedly. It's a shocking idea to have these GA 600 at the front of North Stand L2 but there will still be an atmosphere if enough singers are backed by other enthusiastic Blues.

Us in 115 always want everyone singing, level 3 picked up the slack now we need more, i wont be leaving 115, plenty of room for others to go, hopefully make a success of it.

Some of the noisier grounds have fans of different political persuasions at both ends (or did) like Atalanta and PSG. We probably don't need that at City but it could possibly liven up the atmosphere.

Chatting to a Leeds fan today who told me the atmosphere at the most recent games has been terrible. West Brom only took half their allocation and outsung Leeds for 90 mins.

People around the ground would join in if they could hear you, but they can't. All they can hear is a distant murmur of noise, and if the away fans in SSL3 are on form then there's no chance.

You can say what you want about NSL2, but I can assure you that if it gets going it won't have any trouble being heard around the ground

Well lets hope the club get it right, pricing, who gets the tickets, Season tickets so its the same crowd every week and they can build up a rapport with each other, i have my doubts.
