Is the 1894 block upper or lower tier? The view in the lower tier behind the goal is terrible and that includes the back row. Even if Yaya is smashing one in v Stoke right in front of you.

Take my hand take my whole life too? What sort of shit is that?

I've got a good mate who supports Palace and asked him about their tifo and how they organised it all:

The kid in their tifo got Andros Townsend's shirt after the game against us where he scored that screamer.

He was adopted by an older couple because he was in the care system and the Dad died before the adoption was formalised but had taken him to some Palace games so his wife continued to take him. The lyrics of the song were chosen because they seemed appropriate considering the kid had helped form bonds with people through football.

I think it's pretty good myself.

As for the Holmesdale Fanatics, similar to 1894 it's donations and a lot of effort to organise things. They managed to get flares into Wembley as well on Saturday my mate said, which seemed to have been approved by the FA as there were members of the fire brigade standing by in case.

As others have said, we'll need to be top of our game to take them down in the stands as they've not had many days like this and put in a lot of effort.

There should be some Palace banning orders coming before the final.
Or are the FA and the Met Police going to turn a blind eye to the Palace Ultras letting off smoke bombs and flares in their end? Just like they apparently did with Liverpool fans.

The Palace Tifo/display.

Just posted about this. Asked my Palace supporting mate and he seemed to think it was all pre-arranged as there were members of the fire brigade standing by.

I doubt that's true myself given the way football is policed, but that was his take!

Kudos to all of the 1894 group who have done loads to make fans of other teams, appreciate and recognise that City have a fanatical, but quirky support.
Thought the "This Charming Man" banner was outstanding.
Surely though, the club could help with the cost of the Wembley effort, as the FA Cup Final is broadcast around the world.
Think it's been mentioned earlier, but an inflatable banana on every seat would remind the world that City fans are trailblazers and unique...

Palace have done the flares before at Wembley so I think they was there in expectation that it could happen

Makes sense that there's a back story to it as it's not a song I've previously associated with Palace fans. Very poignant.

Fair fucks to the HF when they're doing stuff like that and organising singing sections like Saturday's. Nicking Leicester's flags when all their fans had left the stadium, and hundreds of ticketless HF forcing their way into the away end at Brighton, preventing hundreds of legitimate ticket-holding Palace fans getting in is where they've let themselves down in the past.

As you say, we're going to have to be right on it if we're going to match them in the stands. Sunday was a promising sign that we might give it a good go though.

Is that definitely true about the flares? If it is then we absolutely need to try and get permission to do the same
