Atmosphere 2024/25

When the team give us something to sink our teeth into, we’re as good as anybody in the Premier League. I know some people think we should be bouncing irrespective of what is happening on the pitch, but it just doesn’t work that way, and despite what we’re leading to believe, it doesn’t work that way anywhere else either.

Great atmosphere the rodri song got SSL3 rocking throughout the second half, happy around 95% stayed for kdb especially with all the traffic and it being on a mid week. Top end to a quiet Etihad this season
Went on for ages that as well. Just as I thought it was about to die a death there was a resurgence and everybody started joining in again. Fantastic.

It was miles better than wolves. The entire ground was singing this time
Completely Disagree mate, wolves game was much better than today, and had just as many moments when the whole ground was singing.

Although I still thought today was fantastic, and probably our 2nd best of the season

Ss1 maybe wasn’t as loud, but I thought the entire ground was much louder. Ss3 in particular was the loudest I’ve heard all season from the Colin bell stand, particularly the Rodri chant. The noise when Rodri came on and KDB left the field was also incredible.

From my seat, the Wolves game was more about ss1, this game was the entire ground.

8pm kickoffs seem to really bring us out of our shell. Sounded great on TV.

Also, i think this season has stopped a lot of people taking the team for granted a bit. I've been to games in the past couple of seasons where the result has been treated as something of a formality.

People turn up 10 mins late, shake hands with anyone, half arse a "Come on City" chant, we moderately cheer all 3 goals, duck out for a piss or a beer at 38 mins, get back to the seat at 50 mins, then say our goodbyes at 80 mins to beat the traffic.

This year has given us a little humility and the crowds seem better for it since we managed to find our feet on the field.

It was good at times but there was still that hum you get when people are chatting about non football stuff, especially late first half and early second half.

Well done for City letting fans know buses had been out on delay and also keeping players out there, Helped with keeping fans there
I thought it was gonna be a disaster, like the Aguero and Zaba ones, where many fecked off as they waited too long and gave people no info.

Keeping the players on the pitch and the bus info a massive step forward and meant only 1 or 2k left.

Still think they could get started a *little* quicker though. How does it take 12 mins to bring a mosaic out and press a button to start the lights??

Thought it was going to be a very late one for us. We stayed and watched the presentation, clapped him around the pitch, got to hancocks car park by and left at 11 for our 165 mile journey home. Got into bed at 1:45am! Happy with that.

Off to work with a spring in my step!

Come on City!
