Atmosphere

The perennial chicken or egg conundrum, but the moment Sterling stepped it up second half the crowd responded.
But really dont understand the obsession with atmosphere. We are dour mancs who start from the mindset of "go on then entertain me", we're not salivating giddy scouse sheep.
 
We're in ssl3. Today was fine. Home match against Bournemouth... Could always be better, but why the thread today?

Its still tribal the tribe today was plus 50s, who enjoy sitting down wearing replica shirts.

You are correct .our football is the best we have ever seen if people prefer not to watch it up to them
 
I don’t know what some fans want. The atmosphere was fine imo. Was louder at the derby three weeks ago but that’s to be expected. Why talk up a problem that really isn’t there.
 
There were three pissed up Bournemouth fans in a box in the family stand who made more noise then the rest of the stand put together.... most of it was completely incoherent though

No absolutely not. There should be a fantastic atmosphere at every game.
If I can shout at 60, and others from the old Kippax can, why can't we create an atmosphere like at other European grounds.

Sorry this is a moan. I know our atmosphere is ****. I try my best on South Stand L3 to get the singing going but nobody is interested. You would think after yrs of being **** we would be bouncing but no. I sometimes feel that the only way to improve the atmosphere is by organising an ultras group. I See these fans from like Germany, Holland, Italy making amazing noise but us nothing, I know we have tons of fans that make loads of noise I just want the atmosphere sorting out.

We sang more when we were shite, why would success = atmosphere.

tbh sick of threads bemoaning what is endemic in every ground in the top 3 divisions.

The kippax was like cemetary at times, this is nothing new.

Problem is generational , when I hear ket sniffing kids bouncing to 30000 empty seats/we're a shit man united and buy your club and burn it down, I realy cannot be arsed joining in
 
The thing is there will be fans reading this thread who were at the game and didn't open their mouths.
