Attack by Napoli fans.

It's an urban legend mate.Same with there Italian ice creams that arn't a patch on our Wall's ones.
I have tasted better pizzas from the My Mums budget range at Asdas.

We were in Rome a few moons back and after some archaeological ruin spotting we needed feeding so popped off to the home of gastronony the Piazza Navaroni. It' s a nice square with painters and street artist plying their trade but not a place for scran.
Thin scraping of tommie sauce and the odd piece of ham and grated cheese for a tenner.
The wine was ok but you cant really fook that up as it's just grape juice. We also had a pizza at the Spanish Steps and that was dogmeat too.

So you went to the two most touristic spots in Rome and judge a countries food on that experience. It may surprise you that food in places like that in every City in the world is fucking dog shit, they can sell what the fuck they want, because mugs don't do the research, I wouldn't go to Leicester Square to eat, nor Times Square or the Damrak or a Aberdden Angus Steakhouse etc, do a bit more exploring and I think you'll find some excellent places to eat. Avoid touristic traps, they are usually easy to spot by the complete lack of locals in em

Ha, cheers Mick, I'll get you a pint, I'm not drinking fizzy pop if I'm stuck on that match bus from the port for two hours!
Red wine it is then. It’s the only thing I do that is red tbh. You with the rest of the Handforth/Wimslow Massive ?

It was a Margerita, after the match we lost 2-1 to Cavani.

We took a walk around near our hotel as we were famished, found a small pizzeria, they made it from scratch while we waited, two pizzas, around 12" diameter, and 3 large bottles of Peroni between us, came to 14 euros, the pizzas were marvellous, fresh as a daisy, cherry tomatoes under the cheese, it's making me drool again right now!

So they had me over for a fat lad ?
How is that good business sense because next time I will just eat elsewere and eventually the Piazza Navaroni will end up on it's arse.
Tourists are like elephants and never forget mate:

The first meal we ever had in Rome was at the Hard Rock Cafe and putting aside the 8 euro pints of peroni the food was superlative.
Barbecued chicken and chips in a stunning sauce with all the extras. This is why Hard Rocks do so well worldwide.Nice grub at a reasonable price.
A taste of home if you will with service to match.
Hahaha, just left the HR in Rome after several electric blues.

The lad's right though, had a walk round piazza navone and they wanted 15€ for lasagne, found a nice little back street place doing it for 8€.
Walking home just passed a brilliant place for tomorrow night, 7€ for cannelloni, can't go wrong.

Enjoy the run pal.Your right the backstreets are a lot better for prices and quality excluding the hard rock which is a real taste of home.
Value is there if you look for it.
