Attacked at Sevilla

I concur. He was charm personified when I met him, had NEVER found him attractive up until that moment.

Love the way a thread about trouble in Seville has been derailed and is now talking about Sven

I had a massive row with my wife about Sven, too. The night we played our first home game under him against Derby, and I had 3 month old twins and a 2 year old at home. I think someone was teething or whatever, but my wife was trying to insist I stayed at home to help her. I was going mad, saying "It's the start of a new era!!!" and was furious as I'd been looking forward to it for ages. She won, and in retrospect it was fair enough. I was being a tad selfish. After one or two rows like this we ended up making a pact where I said that i would always tell her how big a match was, and would miss the smaller ones but not the bigger ones. these days they are older and it's never an issue.

The last one I remember was that game against Sunderland which was called off. The weather was all over the news and as we ate our tea the glass surface of our giant patio table was whipped into the air and shattered against the wall. There was a news report from the Etihad showing burger vans unturned and stuff. She was trying to insist it wasn't safe to cross the M62, and I was saying it was fine. Next thing the game was called off and she got all smug about it.

Some men, and we all know them, just seem to have something that makes them punch enormously above their weight with the opposite sex. Probably a mixture of charm, flattery, self-confidence and a little calculated self-deprecation thrown in for good measure.

Being a "high status" male brings it's rewards, GDM, especially if you can make 'em laugh and not take yourself too seriously.

Next time we have a pint I'll give you a few pointers.

I'm pretty sure the trans-Pennine part of the M62 has never been closed. That's certainly what my old man always says.
That's a technicality. I've chugged across Saddleworth Moor at 1mph in the driving snow at the highest point which is the last part of the motorway in West Yorks and where the WYP just leave us Mancunians to freeze to death. The bastards. The Yorkshire bastards.

I always wonder what women find so attractive about multi millionaire Sven.

Its called charisma Gordon I'm no George clooney I have a knob like a walnut but I have had my moments they must think I'm the daddy they always wanted lol

ESPNFC reports the incident as both team's "ultras"....absolute GARBAGE. Media slaying continues...

"Ultra supporters from Sevilla and Manchester City have been involved in lamentable events right in the city centre," said a report in Seville-based Estadio Deportivo.

"After what happened a few weeks ago in Manchester, today it happened again in Sevilla. In the El Arenal barrio, ultras from both teams took part in a pitched battle in which there were thrown chairs, glasses, bottles and anything they could find nearby."

Here's how AS. Started off....

Fighting in Seville tonight, ahead of tomorrow's UCL game
Radical supporters linked with Sevilla FC and Manchester City were engaged in running battles in the El Arenal zone of the Andalusian city tonight.

With less than 24 hours to go before tomorrow's Champions League Group D tie between Sevilla and Manchester City, radical supporters linked with both clubs fought in the streets of the Andalusian capital this evening. Adriano street in the El Arenal district of the city was the location of the disturbance where the fighting broke out between rival supporters.

I'm seeing a Spanish girl and she said it's been reported there that both sides have it and the ones injured are from Seville.

Some of the lads from bluemoon were actually there last night and they have reported a very different story. It was all Sevilla ultras versus a bunch of regular ole city fans minding their own business. If some Sevilla pricks got hurt, then they deserve it.
