Attacks in Paris

I do not dispute Brevik was a total nutter but He is an Isolated case where as murders carried out in the name of Islam is actually a daily occurrence and if we keep making excuses and fail to address the really difficult questions regarding extremists things will never improve.

Has to be said he wasn't in the vanguard of a wave of assaults was he? The killings in the name of Islam occur with depressing repetitiveness.

The Torah and the bible contain hate filled shit too, back in the day if you established a religion you had to fight to keep it going. People can live fufilled lives using a religion, only power mad idiots bother with the out of date stuff.

I find it more trouble than it's with religion, some people find peace with it but those that use it for the sole purpose of bringing fear and destruction have a greater effect on the world.

We should just scrap it and start over.

All of these islamic terrorist groups have the goal of creating a worldwide caliphate under shari'a law. All of these groups have expressed this wish openly.

As for why it is to help recruit all muslims essentially. They believe that if they make a world wide caliphate then all muslims will follow their lead then.
It would also allow them to get rid of those who do not bow to them and their wills and demands i.e. non muslims and those who will not convert specifically.

That's the bit that they want their followers to beleive Bin Laden made his famous from Arabia to al-Andalus (What we know as Spain) speech trying to recreate the days of the Caliphs, ISIS is different they are more of a doomsday cult trying to enable the end of days so the Prophet (or God I forget which one) can return to rule the earth, the enlightenment and the subsequent development of Western Civilisation seems to have passed by the Islamic world (Kamal Ataturk the founding father of modern Turkey was of the exact same opinion and much of what he said back then could be said now)

But there is something far deeper going on, people must remember that most of the Muslim world lives in grinding poverty and is governed by repressive regimes, if you travel and talk to a lot of young Muslims in North Africa and around the world (which I have) you find out that they actually want what we have, the sexual liberty, freedom of expression, our relative wealth etc, but it's denied to them.

No idea what you are saying.

What I was saying was very clear. You'll never stop religious types committing these sort acts in the name of their God(s).

Now...

Stop trying to pick apart my post with your indecipherable gobbledegook and remember that at least 120 people died yesterday with many more seriously wounded.
No you didn't - you changed what you said but I'll try and remember what happened cheers for that.

Yeah they want the apocalypse to but just before they would like a nice caliphate. They will not bend from their interpretaion of islamic law in any way, which kind of makes them predictable in a sense.

Yeah i watched a program on Saudi Arabia and their terrorism (not the stuff they fund) is because a few of them are rich as fuck and every other fucker is screwed basically.
Angry young men with no hope or activities to take up their time lose their temper and yeah i can see why when they are not daft and know exactly how much cash is in their rulers hands.

The Muslims you know are more than likely decent people..just not decent Muslims..if they were to take their religion seriously they would be doing the same as those in Paris..as the Quran demands it

In reality..they should not even be mixing with you as an unbeliever

In fact all Muslims in the UK are by their very presence here not good Muslims..as they should according to their own religion seek to live in an Islamic country

I am not a bigot..I'm just an intelligent observer

This is not about race..or what country you're from..this is about the real elephant in the room..religious fundamentalism fuelled by the Quran

It cannot be disputed
Brilliant, the facts don't lie

The inescapable fact is that we have brought so much of this upon ourselves. If we just consider recent history which has the most impact on the present day the 9/11 attacks originated in Afghanistan from a source that had been funded by the U.S. The quarrel was with Afghanistan and Pakistan where as it turned out Bin Ladin was "hiding " all along ) - but as Pakitan was an ally and it suited the Bush Whitehouse Iraq was invaded and Bliar dragged us along on their coat tails.
Saddam Hussain was removed and we then found nobody had really thought of what happens next - we went back into Afghanistan as the Taliban were back there and Iraq became a breeding ground for IS growth - as much as Hussain was disliked his regime kept IS and their creed in check (like Tito did in Yugoslavia post war. When he croaked the grip was lost and the Balkans erupted ) meanwhile bouyed by our ( lack of ) success we went on meddling in the Arab Spring ousted Ghadaffi - again a bad man but he did prevent refugees from Northern and Central Africa from reaching the Med. So now we have a refugee crisis too.
Bottom line is whilst something has to be done the powers that be have to be forced by their electorate to take a measured planned response with a proper exit strategy and a plan for peace and not another knee jerk decision leading to the inevitable balls up and just more and more of the same.
