Attacks in Paris

Breaking news coming in, Isis have been defeated by a barrage of hashtags and inspirational quote photos of the eiffel tower. Well done guys, we did it baby!

Why oh fucking why did our government try and topple Assad? He was the man keeping these rats in line.

We need to side with Putin.

They are getting a right hammering at the moment, they have just lost Sinjar in Iraq and are loosing ground in Syria after the initial shock has died down they are finding it impossible to hold on to large swathes of territory and are getting it from all sides and now the intelligence has got better in Syria it won't be long before they will be in headlong retreat, Iraq is slightly different as much of what is said to be IS territory is in fact held by Sunni militias just flying the flag.

I s is a very strange death cult, part of it's goals is to lure Western nations to a battle in a particular place in Syria whose name escapes me, after thy have won the Prophet will come down and save the world (from us I presume) suffice to say not many Muslims actually beleive this shit

Thanks for that

But, I don't suppose the loner in his bedroom is aware of the ins-and-outs of the strategy in Iraq/Syria but will just see the 'success' they had last night, Tunisia etc as what you mentioned isn't really that prominent in the news for one reason or another

Now, I'm not saying bomb people for a few headlines but there seems no real resistance to their movement(although there obviously is behind the scenes ) so some easily influenced weirdos are only seeing the benefits of joining

They talk about a 'state', which could sound appealing, where in actual fact it's some shit hole in the middle of nowhere which is getting bombed and attacked on a dail basis, as you said they are losing ground.

I appreciate it is war and not a sport but maybe if the media covered events in more detail rather than headline events, it might deter at least some

First attacker identified as a man born just outside Paris. As there are eight attacker it's going to be interesting to hear their back stories and where they all came from. They need to find someone or something that links them all and arrest everyone involved with it. Someone orchestrated this attack and they are still alive, there is a much wider force within France.

There are a lot of posts here which try to either connect or disconnect Islamic Terrorism with general Muslim attitudes. What no one has done is justify their position. I would imagine the best way to make or break that connection would be to ask Muslims their views.
This of course has been done many times but I don't see anyone using that data to justify their position.

I would expect 100% of Muslims to reject Terrorist attacks as legitimate.
But IS are devote followers of Islam (Baghdadi refers to himself as a direct descendent of Muhammed). What we have is a load of people believing a book of fiction and interpreting it in their own way.

Know your enemy they say ? I tried to read the Koran (sp) which is the english way of saying it I believe. As everyone in Islam believes that unless you can read it in Arabic then its not true. So point one ,their God can only speak Arabic.
2. Mohammed was a prophet who never prophesied anything.
3. Mohammed couldn,t do miracles like other prophets, apart from splitting the moon in two and riding a flying donkey to Mecca.
4.Mohammed can have as many wives as he wants his followers are only allowed 4.
5.Mohammed says slavery is ok.
6.Mohammed drank alcohol (wine ) his followers can't. (unless they get to paradise where there are rivers of wine )
7. Mohammed married a 6 year old girl.
8. Mohammed had sex with her when she was 9 years old. She took her toys into the bedroom with her, but its ok as she had reached puberty. (mmm)
9. Mohammed took his adopted sons wife off him for his own.
10. Mohammed liked to fondle little girls and boys.
11. Mohammed says the earth is flat and the mountains are there to stop it from splitting apart.
12. Mohammed said Allah does not regard outward forms. (So why the hijab ?)

Apostasy, cutting peoples hands and feet off, throwing people of tall buildings, beheading people.

Now, unless anyone can get Muslims to see reason for any of this then there is no end in sight.

The Le Monde footage of people running from the theatre and the people hanging off window ledges to escape is awful.

Self confessed Islamophobe and atheist here

Has any of you actually read the Quran?

It is a book of hate and prejudice not peace and tolerance

I am no lover of any religion but Islam is particularly abhorant

Mohammed was a warmonger..and the Quran has no place for non believers

As for women in Islam..it's fucking disgusting

I find it hilarious that the far left defend the principles of possibly the most barbaric religion in history

I can only assume the vast majority of you have not got a fucking clue what you're talking about and/or are somewhat uneducated sheep who plough forward with the same old rhetoric
The Muslims I know are decent people, you're just a bigot.

Also the car they used has been found to be from Belgium and they are still looking for a black car

You do make a fair point tbh, if we left Saddam then non of that shit would have kicked off, seems Assad did keep a lid on these terrorists also.
We had no threat from Saddam in reality did we, it was all a load of political bollocks and many innocent people died for it.
