Looking at Indy and Metro no att posted anyone got info for this sad stato, see East stand opened.
More than I thought that.BBC says
Attendance: 37,143
That seems about right. The bottom two tiers hold 36,000 and there was a small overspill in East Stand upper. Despite all the jibes not a bad attendance for the early stages of the League Cup.BBC says
Attendance: 37,143

That sounds reasonable based on what I saw.BBC says
Attendance: 37,143
I thought the QF vs West Ham was an FA Cup match. The game I am thinking of was when Dean Ashton played out of his skin and I think West Ham ended up winning 2-1.That sounds reasonable based on what I saw.
Decent crowd based on our history in this competition, and involvement in Champions League and Premier League. A run of the mill attendance.
I remember not so long ago getting to League Cup quarter-finals against West Ham which was a really big game back in those days as we were desperate to get to Wembley and there were more City there last night than there was against West Ham (2006), and back then that game was huge.
You’re correct.Samaras got injured against Wigan prior to this game leaving us woefully short up front.I thought the QF vs West Ham was an FA Cup match. The game I am thinking of was when Dean Ashton played out of his skin and I think West Ham ended up winning 2-1.
I stand to be corrected though.
We were woefully short up front when he was fit! You’re correct.Samaras got injured against Wigan prior to this game leaving us woefully short up front.
"Oh you nasty boy"!!!!We were woefully short up front when he was fit!
I have had to miss most mid-week games as I worked at BCA on Hyde Road for the last 10 years ,and we often had to stay late on a Tuesday night to prepare the sale for the next day. Also I was working outside all day,so I just wanted to get home and inside each night, out of the cold night air.Bloody brilliant turn out for the League Cup on a Tuesday night with the way Public Transport and the infrastructure is around the Etihad.
I am at an age now where I just can not be arsed to drag myself out for a mid week night match, so well done to all of you who did make the effort.
eh?It'll not be long until we start putting on free buses for out of town fans like united did.
