For comparison, ticket prices started at £46 for adults and £25 for U-16s in the corresponding home game last season

Much better this time round. Looks like a sign of things to come hopefully and the only hope of selling out games like this are with prices like that. A fella and two kids for £50 looks a decent deal to me.

West Ham being charged £42/44 so probably a bit less than last season.

Ticket details have just been released for West Ham game with adult tickets starting at £30 and kids for £10. Not sure what the availability of tickets at this price will be but its another welcome step in the right direction after charging £53 vs the likes of Stoke last season.

absolutely brilliant pricing well done city finally recognizing that tick prices need to come down

Great news on ticket prices. Some of the prices in recent seasons have been shocking - a lot of ex regulars priced out of everything but cup games. If the North stand expansion goes ahead we'll hopefully maintain the low prices

Well done City ,but it not before time as fans have been calling for cheaper tickets for ages .but fair play to them ,cant work out why Watford tickets were dearer as i thought West Ham would be a more atractive game ,but wot the fu*k do i no?

I'm disappointed they are not taking their full allocation, it is an evening game I suppose, as I sit in 315 and was looking forward to the away support up there again.

There's 5 of us in our family who have season tickets but won't be able to make it to the Watford game as we are on holiday, have a feeling there might be more in a similar situation so may be announced as a sell out but a few empty seats visible
Why not get the club to resell them or ask on here if people want them ,or raffle them for charity ,no need for them to be empty

It will be great if all the season ticket holders turn up for the lesser games as well as the big games! I can never understand that mentality it costs enough and I love to get to every game that I can

Have to agree. We all have work and family commitments, as a season ticket holder I've probably missed on average of two home games a season over the last 15 years. I always make sure someone takes the ticket whether they pay or not. Gives me enormous satisfaction to give my ticket to someone who doesn't get the chance or can't always afford to go. Blues are blues if you go or not. Never leave an empty seat. Sacrilege in my opinion.

Quite right....plenty of options to fill those five seats...let the club sell them, sell or give to friends and raffle them as you say.

your fortunate to be in the position of having 5 S/C in your family but to go on holiday and leave those seats empty in my view is criminal, especially now the club have sorted out the re sale situation. I'm sure there are plenty of blues would love to watch their team.

why dont you offer them to other city fans on put them on here then ?

Season tickets not used for any reason should be sold by the club on matchdays at a reduced price-because they are second hand - obviously the club would have to set up the correct "office" to sell second hand tickets.

Criminal? I occasionally leave my lad's seat empty rather than sell it for a pittance - I enjoy the extra room. I liked viagogo when you could value the tickets worth to yourself. Stop worrying about empty seats - they've been paid for. If more tickets are needed, then it's time to build the North Stand extension.

So then everyone would wait to buy the unused season tickets rather than paying for the more expensive tickets early on?

I don't worry about empty seats, it's not giving a fellow blue who probably can't afford a S/C the chance to see a game.

I'm a season ticket holder and can't make it to every home game due to working the odd weekend.

When I wasn't able to make it to games last year it was pretty difficult to shift tickets for the lesser games, even for free.

I think the age of sky, foreign TV, openbox, etc, means people can't be bothered if it's on at home/the local.

Let the club shift the tickets for you. If they do then for every game you can't attend this season you get your season ticket for next season reduced by 1/19th. Hopefully someone else gets to use your seat & they pay whatever the actual matchday price is & not a hugely discounted price. Obviously the club win too as the seat is effectively sold twice. http://mcfc.co.uk/Tickets/2015-16-Extras/TicketExchange
