Sky say they can't physically add ESPN anymore. Has anyone managed to do this via BT for tonight?

I cancelled ESPN with Sky about a month or so ago and signed up with BT Sports knowing they would get the rights to show ESPN games. However it transpires this doesn't kick in until tomorrow. So, to summarise, I think I'm F****d!
The BT website says as of 31/7/13 ESPN becomes part of BT Sport, but what point is that if they aren't broadcasting anything until 1/8?! I spoke to Sky earlier and they said that ESPN isn't part of their platform, so they can't add it. ESPN can't add it. He suggested I try BT, but nothing on their website mentions the game tonight and says the channel doesn't start until tomorrow. So unless i'm missing something, ESPN isn't physically a channel anymore until tomorrow...
ESPN coverage is via Sky Channel 417 for the first round this evening and the third place and final tomorrow will be presumably via BT (Sky Channel 414)

Yeah I know but you need ESPN in the first place, which I had until I was told to unsubscribe to it by Sky too allow it to change to BT. Now there's no way of getting ESPN until the BT platform goes live tomorrow, so for today at least ESPN is unwatchable.

Me too, I am waiting for the BT engineer to switch from Sky as I type but our ESPN is still up and running though. I was told it would be available until midnight tonight when I informed Sky I was leaving their broadband & calls service.

Ah well at the end of May I got an email from sky inviting me to unsubscribe to ESPN in readiness for BT, which I did. My ESPN hasn't been active since 30/6, a month after I cancelled. Now there's no way of getting it back either, it's as if it doesn't exist until tomorrow, unless you already had it. To broadcast a pre season tournament on a channel many have been invited to cancel is fucking stupid, and what with my phone conking out this morning, it pissing down with rain and my ex being a complete twat to one of my kids, I may well just go fucking mental. Slag.
