My sister has Virgin Media, she has the ESPN package is that still on now?

Could pop round tonight to watch the match and then will just stream the game tomorrow?

The should have stipulated on the invitation to cancel email what was scheduled, as I wouldn't have cancelled it then. Effectively between them, Sky and BT have denied people todays football as neither of them, Sky especially, are taking responsibility for allowing subscription for the day. 'We don't have the rights', they both say. Well some **** must have the rights somewhere. Some ****.

Can't you just ask them if you can subscribe to espn for 1 day :)

Minimum term for a new channel on Sky is 30 days I think...this is why they won't add it any more. Really not worth their time and effort adding a channel that you will lose tomorrow and Sky will only be able to charge about 50p (pro-rata viewing).
Someone posted yesterday that he called Sky and got 2 days for 67p.

In that case, I stand corrected...and am gonna make a quick call to Sky myself :)

Well that was easy !! Rang Sky and they added it back on for me...wasn't free, but pretty sure I can handle the extra 30p on my bill next month :)

I have rung twice and they say it cant be done, did they give you any idea how they did it?

You're winding me up..... I've rang twice and on both occasions they said it's not their platform anymore...

Bearing in mind I have a pick axe, tell me you're winding me up... ;-)

I just rang 08442 411 653 and selected the option to upgrade. Told the advisor that I wanted to add ESPN to watch something tonight, stating that I knew that it would go off again tomorrow....also advised that I knew other people that had added it. The guy put me on hold for a min and then came back saying it had been activated and it was £10 per month but that it would be charge pro-rata so would work out about 32p for the day. He also added a note to my account to ensure that there would be no probs if the £10 did apply to my bill next month.

He did check if I was a Sky Sports subscriber so not sure if that was a requirement....and I also did have ESPN up to last month so that may have been a factor too.
