Austin gone to southampton

Decent price but kind of an awkward player to have. He's far too injury prone to be a backup striker as you have no guarantees that he'll be fit when you need him, but at the same time he's too injury prone to be relied on as your main man. It's a bit like Aguero, you're going to have to spend a lot of time playing him back into full fitness, only for him to get injured again. With Aguero it's worth the hassle because he's brilliant, but I'm not convinced Austin really is good enough to be worth the hassle.

He would not have done any worse than Bony has. £4M and counts to the home grown counter

You need to go away and learn the HG rule.

We have already got 4 association trained HG players. There is no point in us having any more, as they'd count against the foreign players cap in the champions league.

The only HG players we need are club trained ones.

Having more HG means we're aloud a larger squad , we have one of the smallest registered squads because of the lack of HG numbers

No.

champions league allows 17 foreign players, 4 association trained players, and 4 club trained players.

We already have 4 association trained players, the only way we benefit from more HG players is if they were trained at City.
