Got too say these Germans look quality of todays showing, there playing the old France '98 trick where half of the squad wasn't actully born in Germany. Two of them were born in Poland and Cacau in Brazil.

Yep. It was offered to all leagues, but the German one is the only major league that has a sponsorship deal with Adidas.

The premier league had the chance to use the ball but chose the more lucrative umbro deal. I think Spain used it as well.

Great show by Germany but remember that the Cup is not won in the first week.
Many previous winners have made a slow start building to a peak in the latter stages.
