For me Mourinho's Chelsea, Arse Invincibles and United 99. This City team hasn't achieved anything yet so the jury is still out. Some people would say United 08 was better than 99 but meh.

He has plenty of times.

"Porto are too strong for City"

To name just two mentioned in this thread.

Seemed pretty innocuous to me but I can see how it could be considered sniping. Of course he is going to big up Porto though, they are his club and he is practically a legend there. AVB has enough of his own problems without making enemies of other managers. His own fans are divided against him, and you only have to look at our forums to see the 115 page thread of divided opinion.

Forgive me if im missing something here.

When we played at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season Chelsea started the first 25 minutes attacking us with a high line. We also attacked in numbers and completely dominated and should have been 2.0 up (agueros missed chance) + we were denied a blatent penalty. After the first 25 minutes AVB decided Chelsea needed to be negative and put 10 men behind the ball so we didn't have the space to rip them to shreds. Why did Mr 'attack minded' AVB choose defensive efficiency rather than all out attacking football?

Or am i wrong?

You are not wrong, AVB is just a hypocrite who has his work cut out trying to keep his job with the crazy russian pulling his strings! Maybe he is trying to be more like Mourinho with these arrogant yet incorrect jibes at the teams in direct competition with his own.
I couldnt care less about Chelsea or AVB but I just hope leslie quits QPR when the seasons over and chelsea are managerless so Abramovich can snub him again because that was fucking hilarious the last year!
