AVB sacked/Abramovich. (Merged)

Apperently Sven wants the job. I reckon he would do well at Chelsea

Sven is basically a rich man's Redknapp, not tactically astute or full of charisma, but a very good person/player manager. Recruits some half-decent players, get them overachieving a bit, but in the end most likely wouldn't win anything. I like him, though.

I like many City supporters, were stoked when Roman came in with the money to challenge the rags and Arsenal, but sadly I think that until a certain quartet of players leave no manager of real note will take on the job full time. Who in their right mind would chose to be in a situation were players have an equal say to the manager knowing they can't be sacked.

If Germany win the Euro Championships this summer, I can see Loew going to Chelsea. Apparently he has had a meeting with Abramovich as they are both at the Geneva Motor show. Some German media reporting when questioned Loew has refused to rule out a move to Chelsea and has refused to comment..........hmmm!

-- Tue Mar 06, 2012 6:56 pm --

You would be surprised. A lot of managers will want that job. Crazy but true.

John Terry on the bench, I guess he's recovered quicker than expected and will probably play against us in 11 days.

does this mean we'll have to hear about Chelsea's revival if they beat this Championship side that is missing half of its first team due to injury?

What a **** Terry is. His recovery going to take 6 weeks under AVB but once he's gone he's suddenly "determined to return".

Terry was supposedly fighting AVB's corner. Lampard and Cole were the reported instigators of his demise. He had knee surgery not long ago, sometimes people recover quickly. His statements of determination to return is because we have three very tough games coming up in Napoli, City and Spurs.

I also heard that Terry was not one of the problems, surprisingly.

Look what chelsea did to Torres, bet it was the players
What did they do to him? He was utter shite for Liverpool and Spain for a good 12 months before he was sold.

Don't be fooled, he was in the thick of it.

AVB never rated Terry or Lampard and wanted to stamp his own authority on the squad but was never given the chance.

His hands were tied with many situations, much too young for the job in hand and will learn from his experience.

I still believe he'll be a top class manager and Chelsea's loss will be another clubs gain.
