Away fans in home end again

There was a group of about 8 a couple of rows in front of us in 113. Had no idea they were Vale (they were even joining in with some of our songs before that!) until they scored then they went up and were bouncing around. I actually thought it was quite funny and wasn’t arsed - they weren’t giving it out, and were just happy that they’d scored. Plus I was confident we’d win the game from there anyway so I was all a bit meh about it. A couple of ours took exception though and I think one got pulled for confronting them. I’m not sure the Vale fans were even going to get thrown out at first, but they had to go as too many city fans weren’t happy about it.

Like I say, I don’t think their behaviour was that bad but reading some of the other stories it sounds like some of them were behaving like right twats

Reading all this makes me feel so glad I don’t go anymore. From the away fans who consider City bating fair game through to the useless stewards who mishandle situations... It died a while back for me.

SS2/CB corner where the two sets of fans met yesterday was a joke, pretty harmless banter and what have you between the two sides, but only city fans were spoken to by Showsec and Police, then a female Showsec 'leader' arrived and was in City fans' faces, with a terrible attitude, and only spoke to Vale fans from behind the safety of Police jackets.

Bizarrely, some old fellas escorted out for giving it back, didn't see any Vale kicked out though, they only go after the easy targets and the easy to trace home fans.

Do you not miss going at all? Or do you find it has saved a lot of money?

A serious question as we are just citizen card holders and buy tickets per game can anyone suggest where is the best place to sit to be around City fans ? so far we have sat in 309, 326,316,210 and all have had away fans or loads of young kids with families', the only place that didn't was 114 which was great but being old need to sit sometimes lol. We travel along way to games and really want to be in a loud singing section I guess our next game is the scum 214 hoping that will be all City and loud ….
When I get over for games, I generally tend to head towards levels 2 and/or 3, around the corner of the East and Family stands. Block numbers in the 240s, IIRC. Never seen many away fans in there. And a great view. Plus, you won't have people standing in front of you, forcing you to stand as well.

I assume every football club has a list of fans who have been the subject of a banning order by the court. If that fan then tries to buy a ticket from the club he is refused. This was brought in to help stop hooligans causing trouble in football grounds.
If City and no doubt most other clubs sell their tickets to agencies, they cannot know who is coming into the ground and will only find out that individuals are banned when they are again arrested for fighting in the ground. Keep up the good work City, revenue over safety works for me.

The club needs to address these issues as a matter of urgency.
They wouldn’t care if the whole ground was full of away fans , City are a fucking disgrace when it comes to selling tickets, that their own fans could be put in danger doesn’t even bother them . Manchester City you should be ashamed of yourselves .

We're treading a very fine line here if you ask me, if there's that many scum fans celebrating a goal in a few weeks time, like there were Vale today, it won't be as peaceful believe you me. How are so many getting in the East Stand, there must have been fifty to a hundred jumping up and down today, plus a few at the lower tier of Colin Bell. Needs addressing quickly.
The club sell tickets to agencies who sell to anyone, firmly on City this but they don’t give a fuck .
