Away fans in home end again

I agree with you to an extent but what I don’t understand is how we can’t fill the Family Stand with City supporting families. Thats especially the case if the Family Stand has been halved to only include North Stand Level 1.
Imagine how expensive it is to takes your kids every week. Drop the prices and we’ll get the proper blues back. Saw a guys post on Instagram where he and his brother who had been supporting city for many years ended having had to share a season ticket but then both couldn’t afford it put together. The last game they saw city play in was aguerooooo. These are loyal blues being priced out. If city matters care they need to take action about the rising ticket prices.

I love these people who say "City Matters should do something" as though all we have to do is mention it and the club will say "Oh yes. We'll do that then".

Of course we care. What would you like us to do that would guarantee they reduce them? Hold the board hostage and threaten to kill them one by one? We are charged by our owners with being financially self-sufficient. One thing the club could do to increase matchday revenue is get rid of the cheap tickets and do what Liverpool and the rags do, which is charge one price per block whoever we play. I'm sure that would be warmly welcomed across the board (and yes, I'm being sarcastic). We make operating losses that have to be offset by our sales of players so if you want cheaper tickets we could sell players like KDB to subsidise that. Is that really what you want?

I've said numerous times on here that the club's action in continually raising prices is counter-productive, short-sighted and may well impact future attendances. I've told the club that. Not sure what else we can do.

If I was a teacher taking kids to a ground of a team that most of the kids support I would say no other team colours. The last thing a teacher would want is confrontation. City should have a policy that schools going to games should be respectful of the ones going every week.
And I agree with you. The club should make it clear, as I said, that this isn't acceptable.

Last game they saw was the QPR game? There’s FA cup tx for a tenner a pop

I do agree though it’s a dear do if you take the kids though.. the price of the food and drinks often cost more than the tickets.

Say we have the expansion to 63,000 3000 for away fans. 60,000 blues paying £20 a game is 1.2 million. I know this is a very rough and general prediction. It would be very interesting to see how much the club needs from ticket sales per game to be self sufficient.

It’s life in general though’ my daughter and her friend went to the cinema after popcorn drinks movie etc didn’t get much change out of £50

My personal belief is city don’t give a fuck about the local support anymore
It’s a business and who ever has the most cash is their main priority

I started watching City aged 4, sat over an exit in the old scoreboard end at Maine rd. 1964. Never had a drink or burger or asked for one. Why cant parents feed kids at home before or after a match. Watching City was the highlight of my week, didn't need burger or Coke.

Unfortunately mate that sums up our society in general
