Away fans / tourists in home sections

It was quite mad hearing all of the different accents last night on our end!

What I will say though, even though I doubt this is how many got their tickets, it did go down to members so to that extent it is to be expected.

If thousands of season ticket holders(who moan that they can't get a ticket for Old Trafford and Anfield away) can't be arsed traipsing down to London on a Wednesday night, then it's a good job we have people to pick up the slack for them.
Can’t be arsed, or have a job they can’t get time off from midweek?

Not everyone has such an easy job that they’re dispensable to their employers on a Wednesday, not everyone still lives at home with their Mum+Dad so have loads of available cash and not everyone is retired so have all the time in the world to do get about.

The atmosphere was great in the lower tier last night. I was watching the match….not fixating on my fellow fans.

Can't be arsed. If you want the biggest tickets, these are the games you used to be able to go to gain the points on those above.

Find it hard to believe that up to 11.5k Plymouth fans are making the journey

Why? As we've seen with the amount of tourist fans we get now, in spite of having a poor season we are still the team everybody wants to see.
When are Plymouth going to get to play a team like ours at a top end stadium again? It is literally their cup final with a chance to cause a major cup upset. Also given it's our last chance of winning a trophy we're likely to pick a strong starting lineup.

Not a chance they have 3 or 4k in our end couple of hundred at most
I agree . I find it strange when Bluemooners tell us there are going to be 3k or 4K of these supoorters or that in our end. Plymouth only sold out their end the other day.

BTW I’ve just heard the American Branch of Plymouth’s Supporters Club have just returned their tickets in 115!

My comment was more that the club has already made it's mind up that they want to increase season ticket prices (with 9 increases in 10 years or whatever it is I think that's a safe assumption). Apologies if you got the impression I believed you would be siding with the club on this.

If we are just talking about season tickets.....

I think most fans would like to know how many season ticket holders we actually now have? I don't know why this has to be such a secret.

What number of season ticket holders does the club wish to reduce this to?

How many seats of the new stand will be allocated to new season ticket holders?

What is the hope of those of Flexi ever getting a standard season ticket?

Are the standard season tickets now a thing of the past?

If season tickets do become available, where and what is the waiting list?

They're just some off the top of my head. I'm actually more concerned about the matchday members despite being a season ticket holder.

Why are members enforced to have a 5 match criteria when there's clearly numerous groups in the ground that haven't reached this requirement? If they then win the lottery scramble to buy a ticket they invariably then have to sit by themselves.

Why are the club not transparent at the start of the season with ticket pricing?

Are the club intentionally making it that much harder for a matchday member to buy a ticket to put them off going altogether?

Why do the club insist on selling all the tickets at the start of the season when the prices for an individual ticket are extortiate? Therefore expecting individuals to cough up ridiculous sums of money months in advance despite not being certain of the dates and almost making it impossible to go as a family.

Why are our childen's prices so eye watering?

After season ticket holders what is the breakdown of the remaining seats in the stadium? I.e how many actually get listed on the official site for matchday members to

Respectfully I don't think you understand the way City Matters works. The club aren't coming to meetings and saying "we're looking to reduce season ticket numbers". Half the time it's piecing together the information they do give us and trying to think about the knock on effect.

There are approx 37k season tickets including flexi-gold. Off the top of my head I don't have the break down.

Numbers, as above.

As you will likely know based on press releases from 1894, we don't know how many seats will be allocated to "flexigold" because the club say they haven't made a decision.

Yes - as we stated within our open letters, the club have said that, at present, they have no intention of releasing regular season tickets.

5 match criteria was an attempt to stop any fans in the home end. I'm not sure that's the reason for the apparent increase.

All games on sale - I posted earlier in the thread about it.

Breakdown of the stadium - 37k minus hospitality.

Credit to anyone who gives their time to help fellow Blues through their roles on City Matters. Fingers crossed there will be a bit of progress re. season card and match day ticket costs but they won’t be easy nor achieved very quickly.

FWIW, I think some of the more controversial decisions have resulted from the Club’s admin management shifting the goal posts after Supporters’ Reps input. For example, no random ID checks after removing away points, excessive set up fees for flexi-golds etc.

Exactly.

Loads in my OS branch who normally go away couldn't go because it was midweek.

I don't see the point in having a go at City fans just because they don't go to a specific (midweek) away game.
