Away Form

For what it's worth, I had Wenger ahead of Pelle on my wish list of Mancini replacements and took some stick for it...

Well tough, we got MP, would never in a millions years got Wenger. Don't think Pellegrini was at fault for yesterdays result.
The players and lino were.

A common opinion but I'm confident that Wenger would win the league with our squad. More confident than I am that Pelle will but we got Pelle, which I am happy enough with. I certainly don't blame Pelle for yesterday.

Leaving 2 against 2 at the back when you are attacking and 2-1 up away from home is asking for trouble and suggests over confidence. Quick thinking from their keeper with a school ground punt and the rest is history, bit below the belt though, you would never get Joe doing anything like that!

Couldn't understand the first substitution and still don't. They had been given a goal and we were strolling, we lost momentum immediately.

As far as getting over the defeat, obviously some find it easier than others, the older I get the longer it takes. Roll on wednesday.

And yet when all is said & done, we still lost to a shit Villa side who were missing their best players. Points are the only thing that truly matters, playing well and losing is the same as playing shit and losing, you still end up with zero points.
True

No it's fucking not. I'd much rather pay to watch good footy. We lost get over it.
Should have won but life's not fair boo hoo.

I'm sure we are going in the right direction, and these defensive frailties will be sorted.

I'd rather win trophies than just be gloriously exciting failures, at the end of the day IMO it's all about the points.

Well, after the international break which is coming after the home game vs. Everton next Saturday City will play 4 games in a roll away from home (WestHam, CSKA, Chelsea and Newcastle).
This seems to me like a perfect opportunity to turn this away form completely on it's head.

But if City don't nail the away game performance in these 4 games then their title chances could deteriorate majorly.

Personally i'm optimistic about these 4 games, i'm sure this team can do it, and to be honest i don't consider home game vs. Everton much easier than any of these 4 games - so for me the priority should be to get that one against Everton right and then give our best to prove that we can also do it away from home.
Again - i really believe that this team can and will do it.

Title will be over if we lose the west ham and Chelsea games. We simply have to beat West Ham away now.

The Moscow game 3 days after though makes me think it will be another game of resting key players and that could cost us.

He has a point though doesn't he Ducado??
What I don't understand is this. Your calmness is fine but you are very quick to jump all over posters who have genuine concerns about our away form and the appointment of Pellegrini.
Just an observation before you get all shirty,
Genuine question for you...What happens if we do lose at West ham and Chelsea we could potentially be 8-10 pts behind Le Arse if they keep performing as they are

Thought up a new chant for our next game:

We always win at home,
But we never win away,
We lost last week,
But we'll win today,
But we don't give a fuck
Cause we're all pissed up
MCFC OK!
